OK, so the Mark-T is delayed again, probably by another month, so I gave up waiting and ordered the Bulli A2-TM. Im desperate to get of these damn clearomisers....
Very serious. http://www.flavourartexpress.biz/index.php?dispatch=pages.view&page_id=99&sl=EN
That's just flavour concentrates. If you are using >10% flavouring, you are inhaling just as many diketons and dicetyl as can be found in a cigarette.
I've never said it is as bad as smoking, it certainly is less harmful, but don't be fooled into thinking it is harmless, because it is still really far from it.![]()
Not all flavours include them.
I don't think anyone honestly thinks vaping is harmless, but to say it's "hardly much better" than smoking is just wrong.
I am thinking about mixing my own juicei am right in think that the pg gives flavour + throat hit, and the pv give the vapour and where is the best type and place to get my first mixing kit?
cheer's
stick
let me know what you make of it when you receive, might get one myself, seem very handy!
Will do..
They are quoting from 2-15 days delivery so don't hold your breath!!!
probably run out again and will have to wait until i get to place my order
edit: just looked and says available again on 30/10!!!
PG (Propylene Glycerol) won't give any real throat hit. It's the nicotine that does that. I've vaped pure PG with no nicotine, and it had no throat hit at all.
VG (Vegetable Glycerine) gives visible vapour, and adds a hint of sweetness to the vapour. I.e. if you vape VG, you'll get clouds of cotton wool for vapour, where as PG you'll just get a whisp of smoke like vapour that vanishes really quickly.
However, pure VG has a high viscosity and can't be used in atomisers like the Tank systems used by the eGo-T/Tornado and 510-T/Titan-T. I found having any more than 30% VG causes problems.
Anymore questions, fire away.
Thanks for the reply, so would you recomend a 50/50 mix of pg/vg or a higher pg than vg mix i have a TornadoT 510 i have had a look around the various sites and quite a few use pg 70% vg 30% mix.. would 80% pg 20% vg be better for a tank setup?
anything up to 30% VG will be fine in a tank. As above, buy some VG from Boots or Tesco. I used Dr. Oetker stuff bought off the shelf in Tesco. Just make sure it is food grade and 100% pure, none of the flavoured stuff as it will wreck your attys. I later bought 100ml bottle from cloud9vaping.co.uk just because it was a bigger bottle and cheaper per ml.
Then mix with vapour flavour concentrates, PG with nicotine, and base (i.e. unflavoured) PG and you're good to go
Use a site like this to calculate the mixture needed: http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php
Tip: On the calculator site, pretend the "Water" input actually says "VG" and set it to 30%
Also another tip: The VG will be very thick and will be difficult to use with a syringe, so use a dropper bottle instead.![]()
70/30 or 80/20 will be fine...
Buy some cheap VG from boots and try it out for yourself..
I just found thishttp://www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/E-liquids/cat649231_573931.aspx some good prices just got some 52mg Unflavoured PG base
75ml for £19.99 nice!!
I've bought 200ml off him, good price, does the job.
Can anyone recommend me some good tobacco flavours (not pre-mix), not overly sweet, not too far from the real deal. They need to be reminiscent of tobacco as this is not only for me, but for my uncle who has been smoking for many many years more than me, and he is far fussier.
I bought the M-type tobacco flavour by perfumers apprentice and it's really nothing like I had hoped. My friend bought some blended virginia pre-mix from totally wicked and it has a decent flavour to it although not quite tobacco, so something similar or more authentic if possible!
I have some credit on Liberty Flights and so I am looking to buy there right now, however any other recommendations are welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
