Some great games on Smogsy's just now but i am getting really ****ed off with the spawning, i repeatedly tried to spawn with squadmates but it almost always put me back at deployment:mad::mad: I am hardly getting any points because i spend half my time running around on my own and it makes teamwork useless.

Plus when i do manage to spawn with a team mate i am usually within the line of sight of an enemy!

Every time I get in a jet, I end up getting locked on to within the first minute and being destroyed. So far have yet to gain a single XP in flying :(

Fixed the disconnects somehow. Closed all non essential background programs from near the clock, removed some addons for firefox i didnt really need anymore and made sure upnp is disabled which probs is the main thing. Somehow its working as played a few rounds one after another without dcing.

460 overclocked to 800 core and 1000 mem should be enough for you, it is for me. I run with mostly high with effects medium as according to article thats all anyone needs. I run with fxaa medium and no ambient occlusion and terrain decorrations on low or med i forgot which. Mostly 55-60 fps and plays nice. According to the article im not missing barely anything by not using ultra settings. Missing the shadows accuracy a bit but meh i turn it off in all games anyhow the ambient occ.. as just a resource hog just for shadows.

Still getting random disconnects and cant even finish a round most of the time. Highly annoying. As well as the long loading times. :( Hope a patch comes out to fix whatever is causing the disconections/time outs and somit to improve loading times.

An update to this, what brand is your 460 and what are its stock clocks?

I've never really meddled around with OCing mine as it's OCd out the box at 775 core, 1550 shader and 2000 for mem. Going by online reviews it will OC to 850~ core without needing any voltage tweaks so I might actually have a blast tonight with 850/1700/2000 and see how that plays.

How does this even make an ounce of sense? Flying along in a littlebird, i take a couple of shots dropping its health to like 95%, next thing i know is im dead and i get told "bad luck". WTF is that?

can someone help me decide on a mic for chatting on bf3? i have a decent set of cans seinheizer and just want a desktop mic fro under a tenner really. if i was going to spend much more id sell my headphones and buy a px21 set.
Not sure what i need or quality wise. its only for bf3 not anything else. im fed up typing. lol

Asus gtx 460 1gb default clocks were erm 675 or somit i overclocked it to 800/1000/1600 or somit and was fine but for safe overclock i backed it down a touch so its that little extra stable so i run it 790/1000/1584 or somit. Mem is really 2000 but msi afterburner is 1000, goes up when you game i think i.e doubles it

Bought a 3-4 quid Trust desktop mic and is pretty good, can move up and down, the base could do with being a bit heavier but it is fine as i never touch it anyhow. Quality wise its pretty clear.

Unlocked the irvn and WOW, I don`t think I will touch regular scopes ever again

They are being altered, so enjoy while you can.

Sadly the IRNV is my best scope to aim with, love the big viewpoint with the single dot. Couldnt care too much about bright yellow people, thats a bonus.

I was really enjoying playing as support today, i even played it on some vehicle based maps as i am loving C4 atm, but is it just me or is it a little OP? I mean i got 3 tanks on Damavand with my C4:D but i rarely use it so wasn't sure of the area it would affect and i killed myself each time lol:D

Anyway I really think the classes in this are spot-on tbh, there is a very well defined roll for each class.

I like it because it makes the environment readable. The levels are so busy with detail that you can`t see the enemies. Especially those pesky snipers camping in the bushes :P

Lol, the number of times in bfbc2 i blew myself up along with the target vehicle was crazy. Got a little to trigger happy with the ol c4.:D

C4 is perfectly balanced because you need to be at point blank range and you need 3 to actually blow it up
