The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Ulric is a nob, no way I'm joining the stormcloaks, they're a bunch or racists! Though I don't agree with baning Talos worship either, but I'll join the leigon i think. Dunno when I'll end up doing that though, always end up doing other stuff!

Thats why I joined the Legion as well. The Empire isnt perfect and they've obviously been weakened by recent events with the Dominion, but dividing Skyrim from the rest of the Empire hardly seems a good way to secure lasting peace and safety for the region. Plus the whole racism thing.

This game has sold how many copies now, is more pirated on the 360, pirates cant play it through steam anyway, and Bethesda punish Steam users?

Are they mad?

I heard that they weren't going to do DLC this time around, but instead opt for larger expansions like they did with Morrowind and Oblivion.

Seems a lot of work has gone into the extra land, surely they intended to do something with it. Would be cool to revisit some of the older provinces with Skyrim details :-)

probably easy to render the land mass using data from the other games , i doubt it took much effort

Friend of mine persuaded me to play Skyrim when I really wasn't interested, and I had never played an RPG before. I didn't particularly like the game when I started it but it soon gripped me and I'm hooked. Now I love it. Anyway, he reckons I should be further on than level 9 since I've played a few hours most days since last tuesday. Like yesterday, I started at about 4pm and before I knew it, it was 1am, lol. He only plays 2 days a week and is level 14. He was a big WoW player so RPG is his forte. For the first couple of days I dicked around and only really got into the quests after that. So am I alone here or are there others who started a week ago and are around level 9 or is everyone like level 30 or something?:p

It doesnt matter what other people have achieved. Some people will simply plow through the game faster than others. If your playing as a pace that your happy with, thats what matters.

I'm currently level 20 and I've managed to play daily since it came out, though sometimes only for an hour or so due to work getting in the way.

I'm level 55, and it makes no difference at all. Play at your own pace; you'll enjoy it more and discover more that way.

Yeah, I do tend to take my time and explore. It's so easy to miss really useful things like a chest tucked away in a corner which might contain a great item. I get distracted too when I'm on a quest and stumble across a new cave.

I'm 29, and have played it since it came out - so what 11 days. Also 100 Smithing creates some artificial levels - so not necessarily a fair representation...

im 24 , 100 smithing working on enchanting, on act 2 of the main quest and done a **** load of side quests, currently doing the mage stuff.....like everyone says its not a game about comparing progress/levels as every one plays differently and many will never get round to completing the game. i play on and off, havent touched the game since thursday last week.

When i played fallout 3 it took me forever to finally get round to completing it bc i was messing about a lot.

Talking about people not completing the game, I was on Steam before and looked at the global stats.

92.9% of players have completed Unbound
85.8% made it to level 5
73.6% made it to level 10

So you are not alone. Can't believe that 7.1% of the people that bought the game have not done the introduction though!
