What is the reward for completing the Thieves' Guild questline?

At the moment, I have just defeated Mercer Frey and got the skeleton key. It's rather useful and I don't want to give it up so have postponed the last mission. What do you get at the end for finishing it?

Awesome, I'm now wanted in 2 cities and I've got a load of stuff I want to sell but don't want to pay the fines yet :(
 
Absolutely love this game.

Haven't felt this about a game since.... well, I can't remember. Also no other games coming out in the near future so I can dedicate all my time to this.

edit: What should I do when a random dragon just lands right near me? Leg it?
 
Just wondering, I have 100 smithing now and about 60 odd enchanting, do I need to do the whole, max alchemy potions, then max the smithing apparel then make the dragon armour then enchant it, how much difference do the potions/smithing/enchants make? i.e. is it worth the time to do the whole thing, or you reckon 1 20% smithing potion, and 2 or 3 7% smithing apparel will be worth it?
 
I'm doing the start of the thieves guild quests as a pure 2h warrior... Not sure how long I'll be able to do the quests for but I have hardly any sneak skills so I'm just smashing my way through everywhere. :p

The 'SanDisk 16GB Xbox 360 USB Flash Drive' better work when I install Skyrim on it. Just forked out £15 on it as opposed to a standard Sandisk which was £11. I'm stingy I know so it had better work properly! :p £15 was actually cheaper than I could find it anywhere however, it's around 22 quid in most other places.

Sounds like my char :D I was doing the first proper quest at that 'House' and was trying my best to creep about when i got spotted :o Anyway mayhem ensued with me smashing some skulls :D
 
Is the strategy guide sold out everywhere now then? Looking on eBay the prices are crazy.

Edit, well thats mine gone up for sale :eek: Read it, memorised it, sell it, job done.

Is it just me or dose the games AI seem to get harder all of a sudden. Im level 32 and I now seem to have gone from being God like, to get getting my ass handed to me by almost eveyone.
Im downing potions like it was a boozey weekend and a lot of the times it seems to be pretty hard to get to use your heal magic as your getting chased at the same time.
I have spent a lot of time getting my smithing level up and my strongest weapon is about 63 damage with 18 fire damage.

I take it my weapons are just pants at this stage. Im trying not to change any of the weapons or upgrade them yet as I want to get the Dragon armour first then work from there, or am I going the wrong way about it?

Im trying the Azuras shrine quest and the mage is seriously kicking my ass in literaly seconds :(
