No, all it says is

"Do you know all three Words for five Shouts? Then you’ll need to slay and absorb the souls of fifteen dragons to fully unlock them all. That’s a tall order, so consider carefully which Shouts you really need, and spend your Dragon Souls wisely. For example, the Aura Whisper Shout (which tracks the movement of a foe) is great for an assassin, but is less useful for a berserker who simply charges into the fray."

I suppose when you think about it, it is a tall order. Most of the powers that I've come across so far are quite useless without the third word. And in 50 hours of play, I've only slayed about 6 dragons.

Lol this is why guides are stupid, I've got so many spare souls it's ridiculous!!

Cheers, nowt to worry about then :) .

How many shout words (and completed shouts) have you got?

Well from memory...8? One at full power, 3 at level 2 power I think. I've easily got enough souls to max all 8 and have enough left over for 3 more maxed!!

minor spoilers for powers:

fire
force
invisible
detect life
lunge forwards
storm
disarm
slow time

Because you have to find all three words for each shout to upgrade them, I just haven't bothered yet. I only really use fire, force and detect life occasionally.

I think that's probably the trickiest part - finding the words. I was just sauntering along in the middle of nowhere when the chanting started. Turns out I was near a dragon shrine or something and it gave me a word. Wasn't marked on the map so if there are others just dotted about, it's a slog to find them. (Unless you cheat with a guide.)

Well apparently the greybeards will give you the locations one at a time (if you go and ask them after you find each one they suggest) It does sound like a slog though. I think it would be much better if you just found the initial word then levelled it up either with souls or usage+souls.

I had to fight 3 dragons last night in 40 mins of game time. Getting silly now and I am seeing more dragons than other things. Everytime I fast travel to a city one appears.

If you use your shouts in towns (pointing away from people) a courier will appear and give you a letter from a friend with a new location or dungeon (map auto-updates) which will have a word of power wall.

It's awsome! I also reckon worth quite a bit, even second hand. People will go nuts for these on the bay of E.

Sold mine for 50 quid within an hour

I'll get another one another day 40 quid profit is not to be sniffed at

The guide is absolutely amazing. So helpful, even if it has spoilers in it. Definitely one of the best guide books I've ever seen.

My local store had 11 of them in last night. I'm quite tempted to pop in and buy another to sell on the bay if they're going for that much!

Yea I was wondering why that guy gave the note? Was going to go to the location last night, but got caught up in the "Boethiahs calling" side quest, loved the reward for that, looks amazing :D

If you look at eBay prices the hard back is going for 40-50 and the paper back for 30

I've really enjoyed reading the "character archetypes" section in the beginning of the guide. Some very helpful stuff there. I was interested to see which my character closely resembled (perks and playstyle chosen by myself), and it is pretty much identical to what the Assassin archetype is in the guide.

Awesome :)

enjoying not reading anything or using a wiki, i'm just trying to figure stuff out for myself in the world and in general its been very encouraging and rewarding.
