The Walking Dead Season 2.

Actually just had a thought which may well be completely stupid but still, would sat nav work? They've got power (generators, cars, with presumably plenty of fuel left in them). Or even a satellite phone? That would be very useful.

Unless Zombies can pilot space craft, go into orbit and knock all the satellites out, then yes, satnav will still work.

Suppose it depends how long its been since the outbreak. Even stuff in orbit probably needs maintaining via remote. :p

If its windows based it might have frozen.

i think the 2nd part of the season will drag if they stay close to the comics.

and can people please stop talking about episodes that havent aired on uk tv yet... not all of us download them to watch earlier.

I don't think it would. Surely the satelites require calibration from time to time from ground stations. The system may still work, but could end up being massively inaccurate.

I'm certainly no expert on the subject, but I think if there was no human input or monitoring that the gps system would degrade quite quickly.

No idea what the silly rules are with regards to discussing eps (I'm not even sure which ep the UK is on). But yah, I really felt that the season finale represented a tangible up-shift in production values and acting. Shot choices, editing, lighting etc all, for me, seemed to have come together a little more smoothly, and the acting was more believable, especially egg's accent (Rick ;p); it was as though I could finally see him being a cowboy cop/sheriff.

Anyway, I'm quite looking forward to S3, let's be honest, it sometimes takes a few series for a show to settle, and that's really what I thought I saw happening in the finale. :)

Does anyone think the black dude and his son from season 1 will re appear?

there was a few times that rick has tried using the walky talky in completey seperated from the original first encounter.

Also did they actually find Darlys brother when they went back to Atalanta? I think he will show up again sometime

Comic spoiler

He shows up again in the comics, albeit quite some time later.

Same here, I've really enjoyed it all so far. In parts Season 2 has been a bit slow but all in all it's turning out to be a great series imo. No idea where they will go with it as I haven't read the comics but I am certain at some point we will see the return of the black guy with his kid from S1, as well as the guy with the missing hand.

Really enjoyed the final episode, on the whole I wasn't to disappointed with how the series panned out. The pacing was a bit slow but didn't really bother me, I just assummed it was an American thing.

In this Season it seems they have not travelled very far at all since the very first episode. All they have done is gotten of the highway and found the farm, its progressing nowhere....

Why's that?. or rather, assuming you have some reason, why is it that we shouldn't talk about it as it happens? (not having a pop etc, genuinely wondering).

It's reasonable that a UK forum discusses episodes as they are aired in the UK. It's not really fair for people that pay for channels so that they can watch them legally and that end up coming in here to discuss episode 6, to be then told what happens in episode 7, an episode they were looking forward to watching on their paid TV channel.

I'd be annoyed if I was going to the cinema to see a film not yet released in the UK, came into a thread to discuss the film and found that a load of copyright infringers were already discussing the ending because they had downloaded a screener or something.

It's just a winter hiatus, there is more to come early next year in Season 2.

That is because of the entire time frame of the story so far. These 5 or 6 episodes have taken place over about 1 week in the time within the show.

I can't believe that ending, I was so sure they'd find her alive/not zombified.

Also mid-season break....WHY!? I can't wait till February! They should show it all now!

I thought season 2 was 12 episodes?
