Truly this. I have owned 2 razer products, the tarnatula, and the carharias. while the headphones were good, they were weak and the wiring too thin. They died last week. The tarantula keyboard was awful! Best thing I did was to jump up and down on it. I will be sticking with my saitek eclipse until I eventually decide to go mechanical.

The Deathadder will be hitting £54.99 soon and the Logitech G500 Mouse is only £42.99. I know which I would choose.
The Razer Mamba will be hitting £114.99 soon, the Logitech G700 is £69.98. I know which I would choose.
I paid £28 for my G500 a year ago.
Was tempted to go for their SWTOR branded peripherals, but then they took to long to announce pricing and availability (To which end I went for a Logitech G110 keyboard and G500 Mouse) and then they did release the prices and I was glad of my decision

Razer mice are certainly on par with their competition, but not worth any more...
I didn't think their stuff was worth it over the competition when I bought my stuff, 6 months ago, and their price increases just make it more pointless...
Razer are becoming as bad as Alienware now they're building that 'gaming' image, but in a main stream market - it comes with the fact that they can release 'game' versions of many items... SWTOR being an example...
I'll stick with my RAT, and Logitech stuff thanks. I have no idea how they plan on still competing with Logitech. Personal opinion is the Logitech stuff is better, and they offer better Customer support along side it...
As a side point, a mate with a Razer Mumba, absolutely adored my RAT when he got his hands on it. RAT 9 is only £99, compared to the Mumba's what.. £120? RAT 7 was on today only yesterday for what £64? Was seriously considering picking up another considering everything....

I love my Razor Salmosa, still going strong, however, if the reason for the price hike is as stated then stuff Razor, they obviously have a very low opinion of their customers given the hard economic times just now. Beggars belief, well done Ocuk for bringing this to your customers attention.
Razer products are a ripoff anyway, so with the price hike it'll only be more of a huge ripoff.

Yeah, I could have just put my pricing up on the current stock I have now and not sell it at the moment, and wait for everyone to run out of the pre-price increased stock and then make more money on this stock I have, but as I was once a humble OcUK customer who was recruited from this very forum, I made the decision to warn you guys and hope that you get something you want before the stock runs out.

I had a Razer Orochi for around 13 months. Complete trash if I'm honest. Felt like cheap plastic, squeaked when slight pressure was applied. The side grips pretty much fell off and the glue melted everywhere after a couple of hours use. Started double clicking on the left hand button. Middle button stopped working entirely.
Attempted to return but needed to send it to some random country as they have no UK returns. Not worth it. I will never buy one of they're products again.
Gone back to Logitech. Had a mouse which started missing middle clicks after 4 1/2 years. Replaced with no hassle!

No wonder they delayed the release of the blackwidow stealth edition keyboard as they'll now charge insanely high prices for that as well -.-
Its honestly stupid pricing now as there are better made products out there on the market with better RMA policies, logitech being one of them. (for mice anyway, not a fan of their keyboards)

Just get a Steelseries Sensei Pro, save £25 and get a better product.
After my Imperator dies beyond repair, thats them lost me as a customer for good.
