im a big gamer and i use a logitec wireless mk300 keyboard and the build quality is brilliant!
and was very cheap.
my friend bought a razer and i typed with it and it felt as if they are using such thin weightless plastic. The thing that i am worried about is the fact that other companies might see this as an opportunity to bump prices up slightly.
also a shame for overclockers because it shrinks there profit margins on the product.
If logitech had the 1MS inputs and 1000hz ultrapolling sure but i like razer for that but tbh thier quality is crap.
Im sure when they realise no ones going to pay 30% for nothing they will back down on this.If they put it into better more sturdy products then sure i can go with that but otherwise not a chance in hell.
£160 for the Blackwidow ultimate stealth then? LOL Deathadder is already overly expensive.... and dont even get me started about a 1YR warranty on a £50 mouse
It's price elasticity of demand guys. As long as demand doesn't fall by 30% they're better off. If demand falls by more than 30% they'll change the price again.
Well I use a Lachesis and it's an amazing mouse IMO. May well pick up another before the price hike.
Also, they're the only company who make a left hand gaming mouse, so as a lefty they deserve my support (though the the ambidextrous lachesis is better for my use due to having more buttons.)
I have been using a Razer Copperhead for years now and love it, no issues or problems at all and it has had some serious use, but a price increase like that would certainly make me look elsewhere when it's time to replace it.
The only thing I have by Razer is the sphex mousemat. It is 10.99 on ocuk, I am pretty sure that it was a couple of quid cheaper last Christmas.
The thing is I am not aware of any similar product from a rival brand. The sphex is an ultra thin surface that you basically stick to your desk. It is about as thin as a sheet of good quality paper and has no lip. Does anyone know of any competing products?
