Strange one this. Apply the stock code and search and you obviously get the Twin FrozR III come up with pic of card and Dirt 3 + Deus Ex games.

However, apply the manufacturers code into Google and a completely different model pops up.

It's a special deal OCUK are getting from MSI. It's not on their website or anywhere else mate.

Clearly the OP has NOT recieved the card in question, basically the one that is advertised as the MSI Twin FrozR III.

I am aware that it's a special OCUK deal otherwise it wouldn't be in the deals section :)

I'm not having a crack at you mate but I think either:

A) You've got the wrong end of the stick and not understood my previous post in saying that it has to be a mistake in advertising, further proven by OP recieving a completely different card

or

B) I'm missing something here.

Please tell me which one it is.
 
got a response saying the correct card was sent out. Can't say i'm overly impressed as it is not what is detailed on the description. Will give them a call when i spare 5 minutes at work

Hi there

This is clearly somekind of mistake, the card you have got is wrong and from a much older batch. It might have our correct code on it but that is not the version we now sell. Would seem an old version has somehow managed to get mixed in.

All of GX-123-MS are now Twin FrozR III, so you should have never have gotten that card, point our returns/CS guy to my post here and they will ensure you are sorted. :)

Cheers mate, i did put in my original webnote that the card looked the same as the OCUK one but he said its the same one. I will give them a call. Hoping i can get the other before XMAs:)

Just got of the phone the guy said he'll need to check cameras etc but ive got to send the other one back for a refund but will have to purchase another one for it to turn up before xmas

what so they want you to pay for shipping back to them plus pay the extra £6(if you got it when it was £270)?

That will not be the case at all, we will get it swapped out, and it will not cost him any extra due to it being our mistake. :)

Pretty much what they said, they want me to ship it back to them and the guy said they'll just give me the money for the postage(cheaper for me to send it than them arrange swapout with DPD)

Not buying another to get it before XMAS as i dont have the cash so will have to wait for this one to reach them and they send another one back out.

good to hear :)

but paying the extra £6 for the card comment was before I noticed you'd put it on 'this week only'.

I see the recent 'increase the price just a day or 2 before putting the item on this week/today only offer' is in full swing with this card. on 16th you reduced the card to £269.99 increased it to £275.99 just a day/2 before reducing it to £267.99. guess the was £269.99 now £267.99 doesn't seem as good a deal as was £275.99 now £267.99.
 
The prices can change all of the time, if the price change at the supplier or from source, then our pricing will change, we always try and keep the prices as low as we possibly can. :)
 
£267.99 is a bargain on this card - not to mention the two free games. highly tempted to replace my 5870 with this card. Though already got deus ex so that would be a little extra off the cost if i sold the code for the dl
just not sure if it'll fit in my antec 902

if im not mistaken the card itself is a complete overhaul from the reference 6970 cards giving better performance and temps all round
 
I just ordered one of these - £267.95 inc VAT was too tempting to pass up. Do me proud lads and get it to me by tomorrow. :)

It will be a welcome upgrade from my 2x4890s, which are really starting to show their age.
 
Been Mulling over this too and was saying to myself just wait for the 79XX to come out, but seems like they will be priced too high.

Will this card fit in a Fractal design R3?

Are there any benchmarks for this once its overclocked?
