What film did you watch last night?

21 -fictionalised take on an apparent true story of students becoming card counters at blackjack. Entertaining enough, I liked Kevin Spacey and Laurence Fishbourne but most of the rest of the film was standard. 3/5

Have to agree. Funny and ridiculous at the same time.

I need a list of more random films that aren't advertised. Most in here seem to be well known or foreign. People should also copy and paste discription, so we know what it's about. And if you can be bothered, post trailers as well from YouTube.

I quite like that film. Remember taking my gf to see it in the cinema for our first date.

Then i'll kick things off...

King of the Ants (2003)

A young drifter discovers his true calling when he's hired by a mobster to stalk and kill a prominent accountant, and then decides to seek revenge when the stingy thugs try to kill him rather than pay him.

Massively underated film.

The Dead
After a plane crash in the middle of Africa, an American mercenary is the sole survivor and has to battle against the walking dead with only a local military man searching for his son as his only company and help.
Very Dissapointing, I usualy agree with (6.1) but not here

4/10 it is meant to be a road trip based on action rather than dialogue, certainly not much dialogue and other than a few machette scenes rather lacking there as well.

Underworld

In UNDERWORLD, a dark and Gothic monster action movie, vampires and lycans--an ancient form of werewolf--are at war. While the vampires inhabit a gigantic castle that houses their ancestors' tombs, the lycans live underground in a dilapidated sewer cave. Both teams are equipped with big guns, and they are constantly innovating deadlier bullets to gain advantage over each other. On the vampire side, the leather-clad death agent Selene (Kate Beckinsale) delegates teams of vampires to attack the lycans. But when she discovers that the lycans have kidnapped a human medical student, Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman), she knows the worst is on its way. Against the orders of her superior, Kraven (Shane Brolly), who is obsessively in love with Selene, she awakens the most powerful vampire of all time, Viktor (Bill Nighy) and prepares for a massive feud against lycan leader Lucian (Michael Sheen).
Director Len Wiseman offers a tough, fast, and gory addition to the horror-fantasy genre with UNDERWORLD. Impressive special effects show the lycans transforming from humans to werewolves, and the lycans' ability to squeeze silver bullets out of their skin is also rudely fascinating. Beckinsale is captivating in the role of the lead vamp, with her leather corset, pouty expressions, and double-fisted pistols perfectly communicating the glam-action mood of the film.

7/10, I love vampires, warewolfs and zombies(unrelated to this film). But almost the entire genre is made up of rubbish or teen sex dramas. Underworld is one of the better ones. Kate is also unbelievably hot in it, which always helps occupy the males brain.

Dream House

Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts.

Soon after moving into their seemingly idyllic new home, a family learns of a brutal crime committed against former residents of the dwelling.

Deffo more a thriller rather than horror and I deliberately didn't post a trailer vid (sry Glaucus) as it would ruin it .... worth a watch :)

Watched 3-10 to Yuma, surprised myself that I'd never seen it before :o

Enjoyed it overall although i felt the ending was a bit 'meh', after building up throughout the film it all felt a bit rushed and unbalanced.

Underworld

I caught the end of it, wish I'd known it was on as the trailers for the new film made me want to watch it again :(
Is the sequel on TV soon?

I watched Nolan's best Batman film to date Batman Begins last night :)

So many epic moments

10/10

Watched Pirahna (2011) last night, good b-movie which knows that its a b-movie and doesn't take itself to seriously, thumbs up 8/10
