I had this problem, I had to copy them to the other Removable disk instead of going in through the main folder on android > external sd.

I'm just trying to do it via explorer, i.e. copy straight from my HDD to Removable Disk (G:)

It copies over fine, i can even play music files from the SD card from my PC but then they just disappear when I disconnect the phone.
 
But do you have removable disks like this

When I copy to the J drive > external nothing shows on the phone.

If I copy to the K: drive everything is fine.
 
I've tried copying to both, it's hit and miss :confused:

I'll try copying to external_sd but most of the time nothing will show up when i look through the files on my phone with Astro even though I can see them when it is connected to my PC.

When I try to copy to, say, (K: ) I will see that it pastes there but when i disconnect my phone it disappears.

I am getting very stressed :mad::mad:
 
If they're not showing on the phone just reboot, it sounds like media scanner service hasn't kicked in when you disconnect USB, I assume you've got USB debugging enabled (it's off by default) instead of MTP?

ok that worked, I flashed both files using CWM recovery instead of directly from Kitchen, seems that there is something dodgy doing it that way. The settings are now themed.

Also to follow this on, you haven't installed anything that has put a .nomedia file on the root of your SD card or music files. That will automatically block anything from seeing them.
 
I've had my SGS2 since May and it's now developed a loose mirco usb socket it seems as the charger wont stay in THE slightest moment means the cable drop's out. Is this a common problem?

I've always done one mod > clear cache/dalvik > boot >turn off > back into recovery rinse & repeat. At least then you know what mod it is if there are any problems.

I remember seeing in the checkROM thread not to install more than 5 at a time.

Should installing ICS Domination on CheckRom give you the ICS wallpaper that is shown in the screenshots? Also should you get the 5 icon dock at the bottom?

Had a quick read of the thread but its not clear exactly what comes with the theme.

Yes, from comments i've seen on here it seems that it is one of the most common reasons for it to go back for repair

I think you need the soul bound add on that gives you go launcher ex all set up ready.
 
Anyone have problems waking the phone using Checkrom V6, ICS Domination and Redpill?

I lock the phone, screen goes black, try to unlock it and nothing. Have to pull the battery. Has happened about 3 times now.
