Yup! realised after posting.

Heaven 2.5 benchmark score dropped by 200.3D Mark 2011 dropped by 400.

Same clocks on the Cpu and Graphics cards in Crossfire.

Try other beta BIOS's mate , Theres 1.0, 1.1 official, then 1.10b, 1.15a and a couple of other in between.

it seems to be certain mice don't operate well in UEFI - no problems here though with my Razer Mamba - its always worked ok on all the BIOS revisions.

Just a straight motherboard swap with a fresh install of windows, everything else is exactly the same.Might give you a call tonight about some other bits bats.

theres a setting in the bios u need to enable to fix the mouse, can't remember the name.

dont need to do a fresh install of w7 when changing mobos as long as you uninstall the chipset drivers you can swap boards without reinstalling

I'm interested in this motherboard my old system (q6600) as come unstable so its time for the jump now, how is this board run like with a microsoft sidewinder x8 mouse its a wireless mouse, i see some are having problems with mouse and i also have a wireless ps2 keyboard will this be ok?

I'm using the x8 with this board and no problems at all. Can't say for the keyboard as am just using a cheap dell USB job

Don't think I'm going to risk flashing mine as there's nothing wrong ,apart from a longer boot time now I've gone sli something I can live with as I mostly just use standby any way. Didn't notice the pause on code 98 for a week when I had to reboot after installing something else.
