GAME lose another supplier

dont know why everyones getting excited over this sale, its literally any old **** they can sell or games people would have played by now.

You're right, everyone has played every game released to date, and there is no way that reducing the prices of games makes it more tempting for people to buy them. No one has ever thought "I wouldn't mind playing that, but not at that price." or "I'll buy that in 2 months when the price comes down." In fact, it's a wonder Game are in trouble at all given that people are consistently happy to pay high prices to buy so many games that they literally don't have time to play them all.

Any chance of an Xbox Kinect being reduced does anyone think? might go have a look in shops near me and see if they have any accessories reduced.

I got Far cry 2 for £1.98 and Stranglehold for 98p from my local game.
Never got round to playing far cry 2 and dont know anything about stranglehold but for 98p i dont care if its the worst game ever :p

looking at what they have in the sale i would say that the majority of people looking for a bargin will either be picking up complete tripe (blink) or 4 year old games (gow2)

Was in a Game here in Norway today and they had neither ME3 or the new Sims expansion I noticed. Said they didn't know when they would get ME3.

I thought they weren't going to be touched by this but it seems so.

What are the odds that two big EA releases is not yet in Game but in other shops?

Better to get some cash to pay bills now, rather than have to sell all the stock for nine tenths of bugger all to a liquidator.
Exactly - and theres going be a long line of (who will become increasing displeased the further down the line they are) creditors.

As soon as EA decided to rock the boat and decline the new credit terms the writing was on the wall, banks arent that stupid to be unaware that having to restructure credit terms wouldnt have a massive impact to a retail company, especially one that isnt that well liked be the publishers/distributors it does business with due to their vast movement into second hand games...
I wonder if anyone is silly enough to buy them out...
Unfortunately theres always someone silly enough, just all those liabilities with all those leases , I just dont understand why GAME just didnt take on board what happened to HMV and how they turned it around (well still turning it around)...

ps3ud0

Dropped into my Gamestation on the way home, very cheap titles across the board, all good games really, but I already played most, and weren't interested in the rest.

Still made me chuckle to see loads of stuff marked down by 1p :o

Popped into game earlier nothing of note tbh, Fifa 10 for 48p, Fifa 11 for 98p.

Staff seemed pretty peved (two actually budged past me and my mate with no excuse me etc) Guess I'd be annoyed if things were looking the way they do.

They're the same around here as well. Besides one jamaican dude in the Gamestation today, he seemed awfully happy and in a good mood... found it a bit weird myself.
