Kind of a "meh" video, it isn't long enough nor cool enough to keep up the hype so it serves very little purpose... Ahh well, a video is a video I guess..

I'm signed up for the beta, would be nice to get in but I'm not too worried.

The game sounds fantastic and has a lot of promise.
 
Seems to be quite hard to find a basic rundown of this for someone who didn't play the first one and hasn't followed this at all. Oh well, TotalBiscuit here i come ;)

Full beta access with pre order as well. :) Will probably just go for the Digital Deluxe although the collectors edition looks great and if its the same quality as the Guild Wars 1 ones will be very nice.

Gah! £130 just because it has a stupid ****ing 10-inch model included?! Can't they do one without the model? Not sure I want to buy it now; might just go for the digital deluxe even though the deluxe rewards are a bit crap.

What a disappointment. :(

What were you expecting?, its the collectors edition, it has a bunch of crap in, hence why people buy them :D. You can probably buy the art book and music separately if you were just after them.
 
The art book has already been up for sale on its own I'm sure.

I'll prolly go for the Deluxe, CE doesn't interest me, especially not for that kinda money :D
 
The pre-order page lists "Access to all Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Events". is that the only form of beta that guild wars 2 will be doing? SWTOR had beta weekends but they also had a continuous beta as well that wasn't limited to weekends.
 
Weekend betas only can't mean bug-squashing, it must be stress-testing I reckon. So what do you guys think...a month to two months at the most from 10 April to launch?

I have 2 GW CEs from the past, no Idea why I bought them at the time but apart from a flick through on opening it they're just full of junk that gets thrown into a box somewhere. I'd argue having the statue makes it more unique and collectible, quite a few big RPG releases recently included them in CEs too for around the same price, someone could make quite a collection with them.

From what I've read there wont be any open BETA or long closed ones, there's the scheduled beta that everyone signed up for awhile back approaching (pre order probably includes that), they might do another sign up as release approaches but I'd doubt you will see anything like Swtors. Similar to past Gws beta if I remember correctly, they did closed and week ends tests but thats it.
