What do you expect of Biofail Mass Reject 3??

You will only get an actual Mass Effect game after they have fleeced you for all the DLCs they can get away with.

It is literally only the last 5 minutes that I have a problem with. If the ending was satisfactory, i would buy dlc(obviously depending on what it is, not alternative costumes etc).

The ending was half-assed because of the leak. They changed it at the last minute so they could have more time to prepare the real ending via DLC.

It’s called The Truth and it’s being released in April or May. You WILL be able to continue the story if you picked any of the endings. Your decision during that sequence will have a big effect on your ending of The Truth. The Truth adds two new sets of enemies, new classes, and multiplayer maps including “Firebase Hive”, which is a small area of the last remaining collector ship included in the DLC, which, by the way you should definitely bring Javik the Prothean along if you have him.

The picture here shows some of the leaked multiplayer classes and races. One race that isn’t shown is the Prothean Adept and Vanguard. This DLC also enables the ability for owners of the preorder and From Ashes DLC to find their DLC weapons in reinforcement packs.

All that content, and this might as well be labeled an expansion pack.

And it’s free.

I guess we will see, but if that video is real and the DLC to add a true ending and stuff are free and all of this was a massive troll by Bioware, then hats off to them, I will be genuinely very impressed.

ONLY if the story is like the video. Because in my eyes, that is extremely clever and anything associated with it could make 1 of the worst endings to a game into 1 of the greatest.

BUT !

If that rumor is to be consider remotely true tho. Means we might be waiting until april to finally finish the game and that we might have to pay for it ! If its free DLC then fair play to them. They would have created a mighty MIGHTY BANG for ME3 tbh. With all this backlash about the ending only to create a DLC pack that would make players think HOLY **** ! after playing the "end" DLC. However if its a DLC pack that you have to pay for..... thats not on. (that said if im honest I would cave and buy it lol )

If i actually thought the average (especially EA owned) game developer cared enough about their reputation i'd be very optimistic that the rumours of free DLC are true since a free DLC with properly epic ending to the series would go a long way to restoring some of the good will Bioware lost with DA2 and such.

However since money is all that talks in the corporate world i'm not holding my breath.

Why would you 'high five' bioware? and why would them being pressured into creating a better ending make you think they purposely wasted their time on creating bad ones, ruining their name and tarnishing the franchise? Don't be a moron. Them being pressured into releasing a good ending doesn't mean they suddenly have any regard for their fans.

Given the choice between ME4, an ME MMO or a prequel i'd probably take em in that order. Prequels are inherently flawed in that you know what the overall outcome has to be (and Humans in ME have only had contact with aliens for 30 years or so, not much time to go back to).

After reading a bit on the BSN I am starting to believe that they scrapped the original planned ending because of the leaks, then released it like this always with the plan to release free dlc ending later. IMO it would redeem the game however I would still regard it as a massive fail.
I joined all that retake stuff, even though I believe it to be pointless.

Far too many massive plotholes for that to be the real ending

If it is not free for all ME3 owners over the next six months,I suspect I will be paying even less for the game.

Not paying a penny on any more DLC, especially not for something that should have been in the main game.

Bethesda OTH says they will be releasing expansions NOT DLCs for Skyrim. Perhaps Biofail should be taking lessens from them instead??

Obviously,from reading the thread(and plenty of other ones during the last week or so on other forums) it is not even the last 5 minutes which are the only issue(plenty of people say it is the last 15 to 20 minutes actually),but also how the ending of the SP game is dependent on non SP game factors too plus all the DLC stuff.

OTH,I am more than patient to wait for these "issues" to be resolved and I was willing to pay full RRP for the game at launch. However,I now will be paying the full RRP minus the price of the important story based DLCs released within 4 to 8 weeks of launch.
