Here an iPad v iPad 2 pics, I won't say which is which:

Photos do not do the screen justice. The new iPad doesn't feel heavier, in fact until you turn it on you would mistake one for the other.

So if you were to put it in a make do silicone skin for now would you say buy an ipad 1 or 2 skin? The screen protectors I presume will be the same as the ipad 2?

Since I have the week off work and I had it delivered there (just in case), I'm waiting on the tracking info to update before I pop along and collect it.

Out of interest, did any that were shipped via UKMail instantly update to "Delivered" upon receipt?

TNT driver decided my complete address was incomplete so cancelled the attempted delivery before attempting it!! Have to pick it up in the morning now...

I've never heard of an iPad having dead pixels actually - so you're pretty unlucky... Or unique if you'd prefer to look at it like that

The screen is beautiful aswell, its got 2 permanent black pixels near the top, really obvious
