I9100XWLP2 out now for download, Russian apparently (with English language of course).

Early posts suggest its as buggy as LPQ and not worth a look.

Big download, 430Mb. :o
 
Quick question. Can you access the external SD with LP7?

I tried Hydrogenics and I couldn't access the external SD, also connecting via USB wasn't working correctly (could have just been that I was doing it wrong :p)

But I went back to CheckROM v6 because of that. Might try LP7 if it doesn't have the same issues.

So does that mean you still can't connect your phone to your PC with USB? If that's the case I might have to pass on this for now :(
 
You can plug it in via MTP. Make sure your PC updates its drivers and you let your phone finish media scanning. MTP lets you copy files to and from the SD card.
 
Had a slight problem since I flashed an ICS ROM in that my contacts aren't automatically syncing their pictures from Facebook. Something I need to setup or reset?
 
Maybe I'll give it a go later, I'm restoring back to my original ROM at the moment.

It's taking about 30-40 minutes so far to restore data, is it supposed to take that long?

[update] So I restarted my phone because it was taking too long (dangerous I know) and it booted to my old image (none of the apps installed except CWM and the basic samsung apps).

I loaded CWM and used that to restore my backup and I swear its an older version to the one I get when I press the on button and the volume up key.

Is it even possible to have two different versions like that?

The backup should also include your version of CWM at the time of backing up so after restore it should be identical.

I know when I've rolled between ICS and Checkrom I've had to flash Checkrom and then been into CWM and restore my backup as I couldn't do it directly from ICS recovery.

On a side note, ICS LP7 is definately getting there, I almost stayed on it but I miss the JKay toggle mods too much, I like having data, sync and flashlight in there for night use and I really don't see a need for a rotation toggle.. :)
 
I'm going to give ICS ressurection remix a go now.

I'm sorry I ask so many questions, but so many things don't make any sense

Why does the thread provide links to 1.0 when 9.6 is the latest version?
