That chart has the gk 104 with a 384 bit bus but it does show you that the top end daddy was supposed to be out well late this year like every other rumour.

Seems that some people find the truth painful? Not my problem.

You cannot argue with an official roadmap. NVidia may have been pleasantly surprised by GK104's performance, but it WAS originally designed as the mainstream 560/570TI successor. The fact that it performs as well as AMD's top card simply allowed them to pump the price up and label it wit "80", rather than "60" or "70". Some of the early picture leaks verify this by the fact they had "GTX 670TI" labels on. Also look at die size and memory buses, which clearly match NVidia's previous mainstream specs.![]()
Also if its Nvidia and 256 bit, it most definitely is their mid range.
CorrectedAny one who truly and honestly believes that 104 Kepler was intended to be the top end uber card really needs to seek professional help.
If that's the case, then why does it trade blows with a 7970, getting beat in at least four tests in the overclock3d review?
There's two ways to look at this.
1. A very impressive mid ranged overpriced card.
2. The greatest mid ranged overpriced card ever.
Seems that some people find the truth painful? Not my problem.
I don't know, the original post was quite cringe-worthy.
I'm not sure if I'm just looking at different reviews or the graphs aren't displaying correctly on my integrated AMD graphics...But it doesn't seem as bad for the "red team" really. This is hardly HD2900 v 8800GTX territory.
There was me thinking that the GPUs are so evenly matched that every thread wouldn't degrees to fanboy arguments.
Guess that was a fanciful idea really.
