What film did you watch last night?

The cartoons are just to epic !!!!! Movies have been a let down

The 80s movie is great and love the soundtrack too.

The recent films are an okay watch but not on the same level as the cartoons by a long way.

PS The Battleship trailer looks interesting.
 
I'm also liking the Battleship trailer. Though having a black pop star (Rihanna), is usually not a good thing. I can't think of many black rapper/pop-stars who have done a good job acting. They all try and act super cool and hip, giving them an air of invincibility Looking at the trailer, Rihanna seems to be once again, acting cool and hip.

For me, Eminem, Beyonce, Mandy Moore, J.Lopez, Snoop Dog and the Walberg brothers are the only pop stars who I can think of who have done a decent job acting. Ice Cube and DMX are probably the worst I've seen to date (though I do believe there are worse).
 
I think a re-watch of the cartoon film is long overdue! :D

Love it! Especially when Rodimus Prime arises! :D


Very sad when Optimus dies though :(

a movie that got totally panned by critics and casual alikes but oddly i found it a little bit funny. yes its stupid but if your looking for a very casual experience its Watcheable.

Echoing the above posts 21 Jump Street - 8/10.

Tatum and Hill both did very well and had great chemistry. Plus some of the dialogue really was brilliant.

'**** you science!' had me in hysterics :D
 
The Sitter - 3/10 - Dire, really shockingly poor, crap etc etc! It's been done a million times before and done much better (Uncle Buck being my fav) and this didn't add anything different. I'll give it a 3 for the few times I chuckled at the stuff the little prima-donna girl says.
 
Gamer - 7/10
It's COD, the movie! Awesome film but very under rated

Drive - 2/10
Based on this forums recommendations I decided to give Drive a go. Really could not get on with it, didn't get past the credits, probably would have worked better as a short film, as in first get away, then end

Just to clarify, are you saying that you only watched the first 5-10 minutes of the movie?

Yeah and nothing happened so I turned it off, that first part felt like it went on for 30 minutes! I probably should give it another go but my usual film choice. Somebody dies or there's an explosion in the first scene, in Drive he just picks 2 guys up and drives around cautiously avoiding police. Go shoot out or stunts or anything.

Not low attention span but I usually expect something to happen, King Kong was an aweful movie but it's 2 hours long and nothing happens for the first 1 hour 30 minutes lol
