Ok first post on forum, so just to let you know I'm Philholt19.

Firstly apologize if I upset anyone as it seems like I have :) which I never intended to do.

Was a good game last night, don't think either team played as well as they could though.

I know I joined the club to have fun and I am doing but I probably am a little to competitive at times but when I have been critical of people I was only doing it for the benefit of the team and not meaning to insult anyone. We still have a few issues but seem to be doing a lot better as a team now.

With Sad Pandas it was more strict but that's because are aim was to win the league and we achieved that but with having a small squad you have to commit a lot of time to it so that's one of the reasons we stopped it. There is a lot of us in the ocuk squad and at times I have thought I probably shouldn't be as I'm not part of this community but that is not my decision and have offered to depart in the past if it would have helped! This club is totally different style to Sad Pandas as well, we use to always have an any then which we hardly ever use now unless low players which is a big difference.

I think at the time we are doing pretty well but there are a few issues. So just like to finish on I apologize again if anyone was offended by me and good luck to both teams, even though I believe the naming of a and b team is not quite right :)

cheers. great post! if only people had a chat amongst u, me and tNA i bet the likes of matty and co would never have left.

As others have said, Phil is a great lad, his comments on people are for the benefit of the club, yes sometimes he can say something wrong or make mistakes but HE IS HUMAN dont forget! we all make mistakes, say the wrong things! no one is perfect!

The club is running as i and TNA wanted it to, i.e a cross between a casual club and sad pandas, i.e casual so anyone from different skill sets can join but a tiny bit strict as in we will bloody well tell u if u are playing bad.

The reason why the previous OCUK died is because it was TOOO CASUAL. i wasnt strict at all their. let everyone play as they see fit and we diddnt improve, kept on losing and people got more fed up.

This one has the right balance :) IMO
 
Welcome to the forum phil. Took your sweet time. At least now you can be a part of the community and not feel left out. Lol.

Thought you would come out with a lovydovy post like that. Hehe.

Buy yeah, people sometimes don't take into the factor of people being competitive and wanting the best for the team at times and take it for being rude. I have known phil now for I guess nearly 6 months since joining sad pandas, so I know he is not like the way you guys think or the way he has come over.

Try and forget about the past and let's welcome him into our little community here. Our Swedish friend stokoten should be along soon too, lets do the same for him :)

All i can say is that best of luck jambo in your new home playing with others you enjoyed playing with before ;)

Even though I have been active with OCUK FC over the last week, I haven't been enjoying it. So I took the decision it is time to move on.

I enjoyed it at Sad Pandas and Ballcastle but with OCUK FC it doesn't have the same feeling for me. No big deal, you wont miss me.

Plus, the other lot offered me half an orange more at half-time.

How could I resist that temptation. I like my oranges I do. :)
 
I've also joined mattys team now, i don't have any problems with anyone in ocuk fc but it seems to be that the time mattys team are around and playing seems to suit the times im available better than ocuk FC..... checked 3 times so far this week and no ones been on or there's been 1 -2 max so i'm guessing the ocuk fc players play a bit earlier in the evening most days?

Plus can't help but feel like there's this over hanging constant critical judging going on in ocuk fc...not that i'm saying there is, just has that feel about it lately (probably bought on by this thread and the bickering) which doesn't really work in favor of me being very rusty :p guess it might just be the reputation a few players have though from previous teams.
 
Heh. Not surprised in the slightest. After I heard of jambo's departure I said to Jon, next it will be bios, won't be long now :)

The thing about being active is, matty is on pretty much all day. He by far the most active of us all. Then some of the recent departures were somewhat active too. This pretty much leaves us now with the inactive members and sad pandas guys plus pickle. I fear the Borg collective will be coming for him next :(

Love the way pass8 and matty talked everyone into joining their team though.

Anyway, as long as you guys are having fun, it's all good. No point being in a club you are not happy with, I get that. Just a bit disapointed that everyone decided to leave without a word.

I always went with what made sense and what the majority wanted. Plenty people, won't name them individually, but plenty complained about gimbel, most are not even in this team now. That is why me, matty and Jon at the time agreed to let him go. I never wanted that, but gamble brought that on himself with his constant rainbow flicks that never came off. The way he handled being kicked by jon was appaling, caling us all *****.

Then you have matty, I like the lad and talked with him a lot, and still do. I spent most my time training with him, he is the only one I did training to improve vs the ai, and we were improving. He also brought it on himself really, though not half as bad as gimble. Even after telling him he needs to pass more and shoot less from improbably angles and distances, he kept doing the same. I saw this and so did everyone else. Many people were complaining, again at least half of the guys who did have now joined his team, which puzzles me. Was strange how it came about, I had told him one night how he needs to be less greedy with the ball, the next day I get people telling me how matty is taking the enjoyment away from the game etc etc by being so greedy due to the game the night before which I was not a part of. One member who was by far the most vocal and even said he might leave coz of matty has turned and joined his team... Lol. Basically if it were for people not constantly telling me matty is greedy and complaining, I would have never asked him to not play st position for a while and he would probably been with us now working on improving.

It was the people who have now left us who's opinions were being listened to, but for some strange reason you guys think it was Phil, or doomer. Those two were not exactly happy either with non team players like matty, but the difference was, they hardly ever came to me on origin bitching about anyone. They pretty much straight up told you guys how they felt. The difference is the people who came to me did not, so therefore it just painted a total different picture on the surface on what was happening and made it look like it was due to those two why I was being the way I was. And I know you guys are reading this right now probably thinking yeah, here we go, trance siding with his sad panda buddies again, but I assure you, it ain't like that, but you probably still won't believe me anyway, as I tend to agree with those guys a lot. But if you think about it from an objective point of view, when have I agreed with something they said that did not make sense? If I agree with them a lot, it is because what they are saying in my opinion makes sense. If something I did, or agreed to doing did not make sense, you can be assured jonney would be telling me.

So yeah, in conclusion, here is what I see. Gimbal messed about a lot, everyone asked for his head, including matt. Then people complained about matt, putting me in a position to be more strict than I would have been which led to his departure. Pass8 joined him and they decided to make a team with gimbal who only few days before had called them *****. Then the people who complained about matt the most went and joined him and the guy who also called them ***** too.

So you can see, me and Jon are shocked really at the turn of events of recent days.
 
I am not totally shocked by jambo i remember when he just randomly left before and ended up deleting us all. If he was bored of playing lwb and cm all the time he could have said i wouldn't have minded him playing cam or st but if he think he will more fun in the other team then so be it :P

I am with you trance in what you said, i think i only played one game with gimble the game before he got kicked, but i couldn't believe how much he gave the ball away how many times he just seemed to randomly kick it out for a throw in, was really like he was trolling us because he doesn't seem as bad as that for the other team. I also remember mad weedgie complaining and raging at most of the players hes now playing with.

As for matty and his team, i have to be honest i only think that team exists because matty didn't want to play any other position then st. I remember the game before he left too he played lwb and i don't remember him defending once he kept trying to get in the box for shots and stuff even though we was only 1-0 up.

Its a shame because i really thought the club had turned a corner we played very well yesterday despite losing a few but i really enjoyed it. Seems a bit pointless now carrying on with the club as most of the ocukers have left.

I was thinking about making a new team and going for the league again, i was going to get my friend in as gk from my ps3 days. I wouldnt mind playing any more then with a good solid gk behind to make up for some of the random crap in fifa that costs you games. I shall think about it over the coming days and see what others think.

Oh and big shout out to jambo and pickle i thought they did really well last night in midfield and defended really well for us.

That was because I was trying to stop playing the game, as I was playing it too much.

As for positions, I really don't mind what position I play. As long as you have a decent game and don't let the team down, that is what it is all about.

People seem to want to join and play with people who have called them ***** or the ones they were complaining about :confused:

We will have a chat in the next few days as to what is the best thing to do moving forward.

Yeah, jambo and pickle played very well together in midfield yesterday, we won loads of games. Pickle has been taking on advice and definetly has been an improved player.

Fair enough. Maybe they did not, does not matter anyway at this point. But forgive me for thinking they may have, as we have seen over the past few weeks, what things look and seem like and what they actually are can be two different things.

The question on my mind is, if it was not a position thing, then what exactly was it that you was not enjoying yesterday. From what I recall we won all our games that you was in. I am just a bit puzzled as to why people are joining the other team. If they just left clubs full stop or joined another team, then maybe I would not be so puzzled. Is it something I am doing that I am oblivious too? Lol. Could be I am saying or doing things that are cheesing people off, and I don't even know what it is or know better. If that is the case, trust me, I am not aware of it and I am not doing it on purpose. Only thing I can think about that I admit over doing was being on pickles case a bit when he was making silly mistakes over and over againg with his passing. But he communicated with me and we have not had any issues ever since. Besides he makes less mistakes now anyway :)

If it is not me, then why are people at least not having a chat before they leave? Maybe this is just in my head, but I find it a little rude when people do that. I am spending my time trying to keep us together and to help us improve and enjoy the game as a unit. People could at least have the decency to have a word before leaving... Trance is sad :(

As I have said, over the last week or so I have not been enjoying the club. It has nothing to do with winning or not playing in this position or that position and nothing personal against anyone.

I made my mind up to leave after the few games we had yesterday afternoon.

Sorry for not sending you a message or posting on here, I didn't think it was necessary as it isn't a major issue.

You have been doing a grand job with your whip recently. :D

tbh that is a lame excuse. you have not even bothered telling us specifically what you do not enjoy about the club that makes the other club more enjoyable.

Like i told u in origin(which u ignored me) i said that if you did not enjoy fifa clubs as a whole, then fair enough, but if our club was messing around all the time, kept losing, had greedy players, bad people etc etc that is all justified but to practically say "meh, im not enjoy it" is a crap excuse if u ask me.

If TNA was doing a greta job as a manager, the cliub playing well etc etc why leave? what makes the other club more enjoyable playing with certain one or two people who slagged u off?
