John Thorne is a perfect example of why BTCC is so **** now. You could forgive it once, but twice? What an idiot, he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a racing car.
He owns Throney Motorsport who's name was dragged through the mud a year or so ago when they completely botched a clients car and then made a mess of fixing it all up. IIRC he even registered here and posted in the thread discussing it.
How Thorne runs his business has no relevance to his driving skill or ability to run a private BTCC team. Go research Vic Lee who ran Tim Harvey to the '92 title. He was a proper villain.
The Insignia is FWD apparently. The base car being 4WD allows them the freedom to pick either FWD or RWD.
