Collard kept it on the track. Plato was driving down the pit exit and was going to run out of tarmac unless he either hit Newsham or took to the grass. Big difference.

/EDIT - can't be 4WD as it's not permitted in the NGTC rules.

Not sure then. They are 4wd as standard. It can't be FWD cos Thorne can't be that bad of a driver and spin a FWD car on a very warm track.

He owns Throney Motorsport who's name was dragged through the mud a year or so ago when they completely botched a clients car and then made a mess of fixing it all up. IIRC he even registered here and posted in the thread discussing it.

How Thorne runs his business has no relevance to his driving skill or ability to run a private BTCC team. Go research Vic Lee who ran Tim Harvey to the '92 title. He was a proper villain.

The Insignia is FWD apparently. The base car being 4WD allows them the freedom to pick either FWD or RWD.

It's FWD.

Have you gone for a Front or Rear wheel drive setup?
We've gone for front wheel drive, simply because of the rules.
