More none crash pics coming tomorrow (maybe).

Ohh and LOL at Thorne. We had such a laugh. Think he was lapped by the medical car.

Wow, looks like I missed an epic weekend. I was out all day yesterday and was never going to get the time to watch all 6 hours, so I'm waiting for tomorrow nights highlights show.

I went on the Sunday, skipped the first 2 Genetta races and got there for the first BTCC race watching from paddock hill bend. Normally I'd get grandstand seats but this time I didn't bother, the lack of screens was the most annoying thing though.

I thought the view from clearways was good, there was a big gap in the fence for photography and there must have been hundreds of people there snapping away.

The accident in the Clio race was massive. We left after the red flag in the last race to avoid the traffic. The traffic was horrendous even then so I dread to think what it was like 30 mins later! I'll put some of my pictures up over the coming days, first time I had used my 450D, I bought a 55-250mm lens specially but it just wasn't long enough at times.

Brands has always been a pig to get in and out of when the crowds are big. I remember being stuck there for 4 hours once trying to get out after a 1000kms race.

just watched the wtcc from yesterday, really not a scratch on the btcc in terms of entertainment...pretty processional, a lot of familiar names in their still, hopefully field will close a bit during the season to stop it being a Chevvie show

Yeah I watched the WTCC last night. Completely lost interest. It just looks like another Chevvy walk over year.

And to think, Ford/AON jumped ship from the BTCC to join the WTCC :(

Can't wait for the same to happen to Plato so he can cry about it.

I missed the first couple of BTCC races and was wondering how many people he had knocked off the track.

If he couldn't see that was going to happen, then he shouldn't be racing, or it was deliberate.

Hmmm... which is more likely?

He went for a space that wasn't there and had the audacity to suggest that the driver leading should yield to let him through, the leader has every right to defend and Plato knows it was a banzai move on Newsham but his ego won't let him see it like that.
