Neate costing a lot of small teams a lot of money.

Hopefully an up and coming driver could fit his seat next season, maybe someone from this KX academy that has been set up?

Adam Morgan was on Twitter last night stating that Neate's accident had jeopardised his seat for next year, such was the extent of the damaged caused in the crash.

we will see if he can make it back out next year!

With regards to the last race, I'm trying to work something out. Discounting Jackson going off, would Wrathall still done as well as he did if he was further back in the grid? And was the increasing gap between him and the Hondas due to his driving, or do you think the Hondas were letting off a bit? then again, Jordan seemed to be pushing the Yuasas from the rear, so I'm not sure. Either way, he's shone more than once when it's been wet as hell on the track, maybe he's just used to the Lancashire weather

I don't know. I think Wrathall's a cracking driver, but I get the impression that, as an independent, he's very concious of damaging his car when he's in the pack (which he inevitably is as he's a rotten starter!), so perhaps with him out in front on his own, he could show a stronger pace. He never has been one for 'doing a Plato' on people.

I think the ability to battle it out a bit more with come with experience, he's proved he can keep a lead and not bottle it which considering the conditions was no mean feat. Many a driver probably would have bottled it having Neal, Shedden and Jordan chasing you down.

He had plenty of experience at the front in the Ginettas, though I guess generally fighting drivers without such a reputation.

Indeed. I know a lot of people appear to have a problem with Thorney, but it's a pretty honest assessment.
