Easter break.. Four days off... Where to go?

Well this has crept up on me a bit quick without realising.

So this is basically spec me some ideas to get away for Easter.

Anywhere, anyplace. All thoughts considered,
I am thinking abroad to be honest as :
1. It'll probably work out cheaper
2. It'll probably be warmer
3. The UK sucks

I detest the modern day Urban jungle environment. I may as well just go to London if that was the case.

Yea you have a point there about the flight time, that does seem a stretch too far for 4 days.

Initial thoughts on going straight to lastminute.com was Rome but is that likely to be bad move with the "unrest" over there or is that over hyped. :-/

Hadn't thought of Berlin. I'll look into that now. I could drive there.

Not a chance of getting accom over there at this late stage.. Bosses tried immediately after last year ( we were all going to go over) and the hotels were all booked up then!

800 quid for a flight to Egypt?! What the heck, you could probably fly to Sydney for that?!

I'd head to Rome myself. cheap ass ryan air flight from Stansted to Ciampino airport, Terravision bus from outside http://www.terravision.eu/rome_ciampino.html to termini and get a cheap room near by (it's cheaper that side away from the tourist hot spots. either walk or use the metro system and enjoy. Defo worth a look if you haven't been before.

I know

Was with Egyptair via BMI as well so not anything "Virgin esque"
