What film did you watch last night?

Hysteria 10/10

British made comedy based on the true story of the men who invented the vibrator.

Sounds awesome!

American Pie: Reunion - 8.5/10. Brought me back and was a great laugh. May be higher when I see it in cinemas, We are the Champions kept playing at random times making the film inaudible and some scenes were skipped :(.

Why didn't you just wait? Or go to the cinema?

The Firm.

Late night with Tom Cruise, the 90's one...

Film plays out at a great pace with superb performances from Hackman and Cruise, a genuine quality film, a joy to watch.

Sounds awesome!

We watched it as a family (wife & daughters aged 25/23) and we never stopped laughing all the way through.
My daughters couldn't believe that in Victorian times men totally believed that women didn't enjoy sex (some still do) and if a woman had feelings they called it Hysteria and there were Doctors who made the Hysteria go away (giving them an orgasm).
Women who couldn't control their urges often got locked away in lunatic asylums.
Hysteria was only officially recognised as being normal in 1952

That's what I'm thinking.
Most of them are frigid.
You've heard all the jokes of "Not tonight honey, I have a headache"....well there is no smoke without fire.

For most women, once/week is more than enough.
Hopefully some women could give us their opinions on this.

Watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (the yankee vesrion with Daniel Craig) enjoyed it overall, was a bit grim in places and had some harsh scenes.

Not quite what i was expecting, although it was pretty big news for a while i managed to avoid finding out what the story was.

Haven't read the books or seen the rginal film htough, so i can't comment on how it stands up to those.

Troll Hunter -8/10

I really enjoyed it, also amazing to think we were allowed to see this footage, governments normally try really hard to cover this sort of stuff up. My only criticism is that I would like to have seen more of the blonde and less of the guy.

You should definitely watch the original film, much better in my opinion.
