Quite. I don't understand why so many people seem to find the extra cost on the, what £30k+ cars they are buying too much for Xenons. It isn't even all about the light output, it's about the fact that with the 1 and 3 Series if you dont have Xenons you get those awful looking reflector lenses - even when switched off the fact Xenons = projector give the front end a much better look.

This is why Xenons are less important on the F10 - you get a projector as standard anyway.
It's no question that Xenons do look great, but the only people who will ever see them are the random people you don't know whilst out on the road.
I'd rather put the £1k towards a holiday or something else me and my family will actually benefit :)

And the most important person - the owner! Sure, some people do not care about asthetics but one would imagine that these are not the people found speccing up enormously expensive M Sport hatchbacks.

The holiday thing doesn't count because lets face it, if you couldnt afford to go on holiday if you bought some Xenons I doubt you'd be ordering brand new cars anyway :p

This is the first I've seen of the new 3 series. But oh my god that is one ugly face it has.

Looks like its face is melting off!

i'm sorry but that interior is ghastly imo, a far fetch from the F10 which i actually prefer to anything that audi do, and i'm an audi fan.

For me as long as it's got some form of MP3 playback, be it through the CD player or a USB drive I'm happy.

I don't own an iPhone/iPod and never have, same for SatNav.

Which if it's a company car you won't see :)

Depends how much it adds on per month I guess as to if it's worth it.

Exactly. For me, my monthly lease allowance was maxed on the car and the wheels, everything else has to be paid up front, which was £950-ish. The Xenons would have been £500-ish out of my pocket. If you take into account the Then BIK I pay monthly as tax, this will be around £320 including private fuel, as the fact my wife no longer works to care for our baby, we're having a new kitchen being fitted currently without debt and the mortgage on the new house is a **** load means tbh, I'll live without the £500 Xenons, as it will pay for my kitchen floor to be tiled!

Argh Housey's picture has made me notice the 5 has that horrible bonnet shut line too :(

oh yea, what the hell are they doing, i hope the coupe doesnt have that as the car is overall growing on me massively.

Shutline being at the grill is far better.
