Not sure what i will do. I'll probably return the phone, as it can be easily blocked and traced tbh. I WON'T hand it over to the police. They will just steal it themselves.
I do have a story of found stuff though. Once my sister found a pencil box ojust outside of school and it had no name on it. Fair enough. She got it home and there was a pen drive. She gave me the pen drive as I needed it. I looked through the documents and found a name. She had an odd surname, so I searched her up on facebook, uploaded the documents to a filesharing website, and I sent them to her via FB message. The **** reported me to the police for theft. I didn't even 'take' the pen drive myself. The police station rang me up and told me to return it to a police station, which was ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY, like 1 hour drive. If it does happen again, I will look through the drive, and format it. Little **** reporting me for theft. How the **** can I be a thief if I am trying to return it?
Once, when me and my friends went swimming, some one stole out bags. obviously, they took everything with them, including mobile, wallet with money, pencil case with calculator (I had a few lessons before I went to swim). Lazy police did nothing to track the phones.
My dad found a camera at the airport once. it was left outside the airport and must have fallen for someone. he got it home. I looked through it, and saw pictures of 16/17 year old boys (and a few girls) who were just posing  From the language, I figured out they were German, from the language. The camera uses a special battery though, so once the battery died, we had no charger. Still haven't gotten round to buying one
if I found a wallet with money, I would just take all the money and return the wallet. Your fault for losing out. Call me a chav or w/e but I don't care. If my wallet was missing, it wouldn't be returned, probs just binned. Be happy you don't need to go and make a new ID card, driver's license etc.
