What film did you watch last night?

Battleship - 6/10

Not bad but not great either. The way they made the film feel with the battleship game element was a little weird but kinda worked.

What gave it the points was the cracking alien ships and good battle scenes!!!!

Note: You can stay until after the end credits, but it isn't something particularly exciting.

Watched this tonight also, would give it 6/10. Like Transformers on water. Only after the film had ended did I realise it was Rihanna lol

Shark Night - Holy mother of god, this is one terrible film!

The best bit was when a dog, who obviously has self identity issues, lept out of the water like a salmon.

Film - 0/10
Leaping Labrador - 6.0, 6.0, 5.9, 6.0, 6.0

:D

Hanna was effectively a road-movie. Lots of traveling.
Have you seen 'Monsters'? That also involves lots of travel and "coming-to-terms-with-life" type stuff. You might like that.

Might take a look at that :)

Aaaaah. I understand.
I assume she was acting like a pop-star, who is acting in a movie.
This is a problem with many black pop-stars who try to act. They are simply too cool and bad-ass to be realistic.

More than anything she was just trying way too hard. She wasn't the only poor actor in the film though.

Adjustment Bureau was on the box again last night and I watched it again. Still an excellent film and really am a bit shocked a lovey type story captured me soo much the first time, let alone this 2nd time. Great performances and the Sci-Fi/Inception type feel is great!

Also watched 'Warrior' - 8.5/10.

Awesome film with some brutal fighting. Wish I could get a figure like Tom Hardy in this!!!!

Battleship - 5/10

Very destructive with lots of explosions and special effects, the story is predictable and straightforward but takes too long to get to the aliens, focusing instead as an advert for the US Navy. Becomes very preposterous & silly towards the end, but it does what it says on the tin – popcorn entertainment with some character development.
