Depends on your class I guess, and probably how expensive the potions are. Only got around 400hp on Wizard by lvl10 so 12500 seems a complete pipe dream for him but I suppose a tank type frontliner with lots of vitality might get well beyond that.

The wizards Arcane Power is funny. He gets 100 of it and it doesn't increase with level... and I got an item that increased it by 1 ><

Tried out the witch doctor second for a bit. Really enjoyed it so far, but I wanna try out the other classes before the beta is over so won't get chance to try out much more on her. The Grasp of the Dead spell is awesome. Firebats was far too expensive for my liking.

I just found that as well.

I really cant decide from the beta which character i prefer, all awesome in their own ways :(

I found one just now. Reading the description though it could very well be Blizzard trying to mislead people, hence the reference to a red herring.

You can quite easily get over 1k in the beta, so we'll have lots end game!

Indeed :D

Is there any way to change the Templar's skills, or once you've chosen, that's it?

It seems all there is to do after you complete the beta is farm the last quest for and sell for fg.

Some of the biggest complaints I've seen of the Wizard are due to "hes flimsy" "I keep running out of arcane power"

I suggest people check out the passive abilities you get between 1-60. Between those and the bonuses from gear I can imagine spamming just about anything on the Wizard will become possible.

This game is amazing, have played a wizard up until level 7, am now wanting to play a demon hunter if it'll ever let me log back in.

Guys can anyone explain to me what type of game this is? I've looked everywhere and still don't understand.

I'd call it a Dungeon Crawler personally, although it has Hack and Slash elements. Both single player and multiplayer, something for everyone really.

Honestly the best way to find out if you like it is the play the beta, its free and will give you a good insight into the game.

I liked the Monk best, there's something rewarding about beating the **** out of everything.

Indeed I enjoyed the monk as well, although with a range/melee attack it did feel a little over powered.

Currently playing as a Witch Doctor which is completely different, throwing jars of spiders everywhere lol.

The trick is, never log out. Ever.

lol, I'm finding it will login first time everytime now. However starting a game takes a few goes.

Yeah way too early to tell... and I'm pretty sure some of the passives increase Arcane Power capacity and/or regen.

And I've had no trouble with arcane power running out really. Ok so its early stages of the game but the only way to run out of Arcane Power is to be under the impression that casting 3 Arcane Orbs in a row isn't going to drain you dry...

Yeah I've had no trouble logging in at all but starting a game seems hopeless. It keeps timing out and rarely works. Quite annoying when I'm trying to have a go at each character. Was trying to create a Monk after having a go on Witch Doctor and the damn thing refuses to start a game.

The (default) mouse1 spells don't even require arcane power so not sure what they've been smoking. You've got a cost-free close range AoE you can spam so I found wizard quite powerful tbh.

Just in case anyone isn't aware yet, go to the game play options and hit elective mode. You can put any skill in any slot with that enabled.

It really isn't telegraphed well.

The wiz/demon hunter/witch doctor are a little flimsy in comparison to the melee heroes because the barb and monk get a 30% innate damage reduction. Obviously they have range to compensate for this though.

The Mouse1 spells don't do very much damage though, Mouse2 seems to be the one to use to kill enemies, then use Mouse1 when you have no Arcane Power. I'm not sure what controls the Mouse1 damage, possibly the weapon damage?

wand damage controls all spells just an fyi. A nice change of wand for me made my ray of frost immensely powerful as well as the magic missile.

Got nothing to do with a wand, its just your damage, regardless of the weapon.

But yes, I could 1-2 shot most of the standard enemies with my default magic missile... so I dunno where you got that from. All it lacks is AoE like Arcane Orb. I found the 'charged bolt' style attack to be pretty **** though.

Just checked out some game play on youtube, looks great. I'll definitely be picking this up, though I think I might play the second title first.

My list is:

1. Demon Hunter (also liked rogue and amazon best in the first 2)
2. Wizard - That magic beam :D
3. Witch Doctor
4. Barbarian
5. Monk - Only character I didn't really like

A lot of people don't seem to be getting this - you should be using the highest DPS weapon you have if you are monk/wizard/WD (assuming the effects aren't of interest, like +int/+mf etc). You don't just have to use your class weapon. I found in the beta, the magic class weapons are generally rubbish. I just finished the beta with the monk and spent the 2nd half using an axe and a saber. When I played the wizard I didn't get any decent wands, so I used a magic axe and a shield. I got an off-hand orb but it was rubbish.

Done with all the classes now, time to wait for the full game.
