Sorry to jump into a thread guys, but am currently looking to get into Sim Racing. Had a few dabbles with rfactor and the like many years ago and did enjoy it but other things got in the way. Now building a new pc and wanting to get into racing. Bought a G27, new seat and am looking to build a fully enclosed gaming/racing cockpit.
Had a search on here but cant see any threads on cockpit building etc. Any ideas???
i known it aint nowt to do with iracing but damn i liked that vid and the save the guy does at the end is just epic...

is my steering wheel set up wrong ? as when i go into the game settings it says my steering wheels lock is 882 degrees ( should it not be 900 ? ) even after i calibrate it ,, yet i have it set to 900 degrees ok in the logitec profiler under the "global device settings" as per the read me in the beginners guide

Just tried the Paul's new Radical setup, quite liking it tbh, be interesting to see how it matures into a full race setup...
ive only done a couple of runs with my set since update, so ill mess with it next week, ill give pauls some more time aswell..
im never happy when the car is sliding with a 17 wing full stop it always feels like its gunna let go, but it is more controllable now esp in the last turn at the glen now im a lot more confident powering and sliding through there, pauls set felt better through there for sure but with the couple of runs ive done with both sets im struggling through T1....
The in-game '882' degrees is based on the bit of calibration when it asks you to turn the wheel 90 degrees, ultimately it's not going to make any real difference with that small an error but personally when I'm doing that bit I ignore attempting to get 90 degrees on the wheel and just aim to get the readout saying 900 degrees rotation
Also with the TT's as GraveYard said it's just because it's week 13, they'll be back on Tuesday![]()
