One of beta hint screens claims there isn't one. That said diablofans have posted client strings implying a pony level :P.

On a different note, finally got my final character to 13 and...I'm at a loss. The least enjoyable character was the WD in my opinion (though i'm not implying the class was poor or anything), and while I plan to make a monk my main, the lack of mobility (like barbs leap or dh vault) and crippled resource generation are annoying drawbacks. By contrast the DH seems almost op in this aspect. Hatred regenerates by itself very slowly AND can be regained by shooting at nothing, and discipline doesn't see enough usage for it to be running out (unless you spam vault to gain the speed boost).

Agree with monk on mobility, hoping that one of the dashing strike runes will essentially turn it into leap.

I wouldn't worry about the spirit generation, its pretty jarring on the monk because there is no passive regen, after picking up a few spirit / second regen it will probably feel a lot better.

Soaring Skull rune? Won't use it. Blinding speed seems bit more worth it.

Monk has got crazy mobility, the punch move has a rune that makes you instantly teleport to the enemy and punch them!

Monk has mobility when catching someone is involved, yes not denying it. It does not have the escape/fast travel (unless you use dashing strike to move around the map and that's limited by your spirit) abilities of DH, Barb and Wizard. I suppose the WD is on a similar boat here

Monk has a 3-4 second immunity on a 20 second cooldown for his escape move.

Using dashing strike to move around the map is really ugly, it doesn't cast properly unless you use it on destructibles or enemies.

Edit - I probably wouldnt use leap as a barb either, too many skills which are more beneficial. It's novel, pretty much it.

The defensive skills category only really has Ignore pain as viable alternative and then it's a question of what's more useful - running away from enemies when on low health (leap) or lowering the damage you receive for a few seconds.

You can put any skill in any skill slot, it doesn't need to be strictly within the categories.

Upside of ignore pain as well are that it can be runed to affect all nearby allies and plus it can be used pre emptively. But there are no real right answers really, it depends on how you're going to play.

I'm really not sure anymore which class I'll go for =/

WH looks really fun but I heard from a friend that it's quite hard. I played DH in the beta but I like the look of the purecaster.

You really can't draw any conclusions as to the difficulty of the classes from the beta. Beyond choosing what you like/dislike you don't have enough skills to go on. Not to mention most people keep saying that Firebats is overpowered and you can beat everything with just that early on which wouldn't be difficult at all.
