Anyone have any idea how big the patch is going to be tomorrow? I don't finsh work until 6.15 GMT, so the patch server will probably be flooded? Hope it isn't too big!
 
**** it Cancelled Amazon Preorder . Im going to Tescos in nottingham at 11pm. Only 20 minute drive. If i push my Teg i can get away with 15 minutes and no tickets :D
 
Won't all these places not sell until midnight surely? It's still a 15th release, I can't see why they'd release a bit early to match when the servers go live. :confused:

I'm fairly sure most the acne riddled shelf stackers won't be aware of blizzards server schedule. :p

Yep complete waste of time any one who thinks they will be able to pick this up at 23.00.

I bought Cataclysm on launch night from Asda, same scenario, servers went live at 11pm GMT, yet they wouldn't sell any copies until midnight despite having boxes of them at customer services, I predict similar happenings wtih D3 at supermarkets.
 
Folks, my DVD drive is currently not working... am I able to download the game/installer and then just simply add the key to my account?

Or am I screwed and would need to get new DVD drive?

Go to your account on the Blizzard website and put your key in, it adds it to your account and you can then download the game.

Hmm thats a good point actually... concerning the Battle.net website... I played WoW and cancelled my sub before the whole Battle.net thing many years ago.... would Blizzard have automatically ported my details over? Or would I have to register from scratch?
 
Just over 24 hours

I won't be playing till I get home from work around 5pm on Tuesday. I have Wednesday off.

Not desperate to play it so I'm not fussed at missing a few hours. Will give everything a time to settle in. Too.

Don't think they would have, but you can merge your old warcraft account into a proper battle.net account I believe, or that's what I remember doing. Assuming you still want to do that :)

Amazon just told me the delay to 16th was due to "first-come, first-served". After expressing my disappointment :D they upgraded my delivery to guaranteed 15th next day.

If you are showing 16th, contact them by phone or live chat and ask for the same.

Live chat has a 45 minute wait atm.
