^ Lol at the people raging about gaming celebrities and calling them sad for doing nothing except being good at games.

What exactly do other celebrities do? Some are good at sport, some are good at acting, some just look pretty. Athene is pretty damn famous in his own right, and pretty damn good at what he does, and he uses this fame to do a lot of good, like raise money and promote charitable causes.

A hell of a lot more than you keyboard warriors have ever done (looking at you, kamwah)

I lol'd. Thanks for the shutout! XD

He actually didn't have any information (easily available) on his website about his charity work. Not that I care but I'll admit I was wrong in that way about him.

Gaming charity runs always surprise me how much money they bring in.

Go to the taverns/inns. Barman always sells health potions.

Yes when your items durability goes down so does there effectiveness I believe. So you lose some damage/armour. I wasn't paying much attention though when I died earlier but I'm sure my dps went up after I repaired. Repair cost was about 250 early act II but I can see that going up drastically.

I remember in D2 having a mace that had 30 charges of Frozen Orb attached to it, repairing that if all the charges had been spent cost best part of half a million gold iirc. Gold reserves didn't last long.

I will check on the DPS tonight once equipment is healed, again referring back to D2, the durability didn't affect the damage the weapon did so will be interesting if it does, would make sense.

I haven't seen it mentioned, however just a small thing I noticed that got tiresome in D2 was the Stamina bar, or in this case, the lack of one in DIII, makes things a lot easier and one less thing to have to monitor :)

Inferno doesn't look as though it is as hard as Blizzard made out, method (the WoW guild) have killed skeleton king already. By the looks of the video took them around 10 minutes though.

with shopto you can order upto around 5:20pm and it will come next day. They will even text/email you a photo of your parcel when it is packed :D

I use them for all my games now that I cant get on steam

I know but royal mail never comes next day and I'm bored and wanna play now, arghhh decisions decisions

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure casters aren't affected by the weapons dmg unless it's +damage or +stats and the weird +s like life after kill.

They all are. Read the skill descriptions and it will be "does ??% weapon damage as...". I'm not sure what the basic tooltips say, but it's quite clear with the advanced ones.

The skills scale as you're weapons improve, then damage can also be increased by stacking your primary stat. Eg. My DH has 325 dex now, which equals 325% bonus once skill damage is calculated.

Wait, wait, I am confused.

So, I have a skill that does 10 shock damage, it's a magic skill. I am a Witch Doctor. All relative obviously.

So, 10 shock damage from a primary skill
Have a dagger that does 10.0 damage
+1-2 shock damage
+10 intellect

What is the total damage of my primary shock skill?

As a WD, I NEVER use physical melee.

Do you guys think I should continue playing on the Americas or switch to Europe?

I ended up levelling to 21 and getting to Act 2 before realising that the server was the Americas.

You do realise we're some of the best gamers in the world, right? Compare when we kill WoW bosses compared to "average" or "good" gamers, I wouldn't read too much into it. We've also had people playing without a break yet.

What skill is that?

No skills do XX amount of damage. They're all a percentage of weapon damage.

Take poison dart for example:

Cost: 10 Mana
Shoot a deadly Poison Dart that deals 100% weapon damage as Poison and an additional 40% weapon damage as Poison over 2 seconds.

100% of your weapon damage, +40% of your weapon damage.

As you're a WD, take that and increase it by 1% for every int (primary stat) you have.

Is that not a little bit arrogant? He was making a observation based on an opinion. Not insulting your game skill.

Ah, yea, worded my original question terribly.

So, say I had a 10.0 damage ritual dagger, I would be 14 damage with my poison dart? Then plus 25 int, I will be doing a total 39 damage?

Prob going to download this tonight, anyone have any experience with running a similar spec to mine? Reckon I'll be able to get 120hz/fps running constant at max without SLI?
