I've come to the conclusion that its related to latency as well. It is basically the game checking the assets to make sure you are hacking or cheating or anything. So whenever there is more latency it affects performance more and you get this stuttering. Worse for me now than it was earlier and I have a 250ms ping now whereas earlier it was around 60.

Yeah, I'm 99% convinced it's latency related. Last night after 12 midnight I was able to play pretty much perfect, and this morning was fine to.

Weird...:/

Where do you see those stats? Possible to find them on BN account?

Click on your character in when logged in on the hero screen.

I think its miscalculated it. The first one to defeat normal did it in almost 13 hours, I couldn't have done it 2 hrs faster I am sure.

A lot of stats weren't being tracker correctly at one point yesterday, can imagine play time being one of them

Is anyone running this on a Macbook Pro, and if so how does it run? I've got the base 13" 2011 model.

(And in before "why did you buy a Mac if you want to game" nonsense ;))

Question for those with the Collector's edition. If I have already registered a key to my Battle.net account using a standard edition (shop bought, not from Blizz), am I able to add the features from the Collector's edition to that account or will I have to re-register using the CE key? What will happen with my Standard edition account? Can I transfer that to another Battle.net account?

When you add the CE key to your battle.net account the existing version will be updated to CE and when you log in you will then get the features on any new characters you create.

I had heard a rumour that a new SE key would be generated after you upgraded, however I've never seen that with any of my WoW CE's (I got the digital Cata version for release and upgraded when my CE arrived, the SE just ceased to exist in my battle.net account).

I know that there was a deal going that Blizzard would let you have the license back if you purchased the digital edition, but I have a retail edition and I need to know if it will work that away with that version as well. If so, I'll order a Collector's Edition and wait for that to arrive :)

just ask customer support, I'm sure they'll have an answer

When I played Diablo 2 I loved it... Titan Quest awesome, however Diablo 3 I got a guest key and there was nothing there that made me rush to get my credit card and especially at that rip off price!. The ground based graphics are not the best i mean everything is wowish and it all looks too smooth, I like it gritty, sharp, dark and evil.

The hack and slash part is great fun as is the skills and items. I can't understand the hype this game is getting but I think it's down to the name DIABLO and who developed it. This game also has a huge fanboyish attitude, anyone posting anything negative about it is insulted left right and center.

This game is a £25 title and that's what i'd pay

I paid £22, then decided to get the CE and it's been more than worth it. :)

It might be getting a lot of hype because of the name, but it's deserving of it imo. I don't remember the last time I sat down and completely lost track of the whole day. :p I couldn't put it down once I got past the end of the beta.

The story and cutscenes so far have been amazing, and the gameplay just feels so right at the moment. Concidering the hours that I can see me putting in, £25 would be robbing Blizzard, I'd have no qualms paying far more than the £55 I parted with for the CE. :)
