Having so much fun in this game right now. Was set on playing a wizard since beta, but one of the guys I'm playing with also wanted to play one. Figured I'd try something else playing co-op to be able to share loot drops with each other (monk, wizard and me)

Went Barbarian and loving the playstyle. Hulk smash :p Still gonna play a wizard, but will solo through normals at least on that and team up for harder modes after.
 
I did the most boring thing so far :P

Level all classes to 10 aka passed the beta content. Really boring as i had to do the beta content 5 times again.

BUT! now there all up for new spells and new content

Loving this game.
 
Is there a thread or anywhere that people have listed their battletags? now that I've played through the story on norm I want to play some co-op and would prefer to do it with OcUKers on nightmare, but 267 pages is a little much to work through to try and find peoples battletags :P

I wasn't too keen on that skill either. Its explosion radius seemed really small and the delayed activation + recharge seemed really awkward compared when you could just use say, an Arcane Orb and get it over with (more so now I've just unlocked the 20yard rune).

Not overly keen on meteor either. Its only real advantage is its zero cooldown but costing 60 AP means you can't exactly use it often anyway. In that respect its damage seems too low given the delay between cast and impact that means you could miss. The 260%/78% rune seemed a little stronger but I find Blizzard to be far more useful.
 
So then, is this game about doing boss runs?

I feel like going to kill the Act 1 Boss again but when i go to start that quest it says my progress will be saved, that confuses me because i've already done it.

Yeah...there is a Diablo 3 Multiplayer thread, which has some website that people can put their tags on from OcUK.
 
Was wondering the same, I just killed Skeleton King and went back to New Tristam, then got a checkpoint.

Can I go back to just before the SK and keep killing him for some easy drops?

You can chose which quest you start on from all the quests you've completed before. Then your check points will be saved against that point.

Boss runs is certainly one thing you can do, though there are systems in place that mean just killing bosses isn't nessecarily the most effective way to get gear at high level. ;)
 
How is this for stuttering this morning guys? It was nice and smooth after midnight last night.

Going to jump on in a sec, hoping to get Normal mode completed today. :)
 
does anyone know if there is a live dps meter in game?

my char screen says im doing 221 damage but i assume that is just my left click attack. would be good to know what im putting out in fights.
 
Huge ending spoiler... this quite possibly has the largest credit list of anything, ever. Being as sad as I am and wanting to look out for easter eggs watched it all and by the end with just the background image left I felt like it was moving...

Co-op with random groups was rubbish in Diablo 2 aswell with people rushing. If playing co-op it's gotta be with someone you know to really enjoy it.
 
This is a **** take. Horrible stuttering for me again this morning. :(

Hate having to wait till after 12 midnight to be able to play properly! Get your act together Blizzard.

Don't understand the enjoyment of rushing through and not exploring. Miss out on side quests and stuff.
 
My C.E finally landed !! shame that characters created on the guest pass don't get the C.E goodies :( (unless theres a way I don't know about).

What ping do you have in-game? Random question, but have you checked to make sure you're not on the Americas server?

I had this the first night also. Are you using AMD drivers? If you updated to 12.4 (I think) there is a new 12.4a edition out to fix issues with some games, which fixed the stutter for me. Haven't had any problems since. There is actually a sticky on the official Diablo technical support forums with a direct link to the drivers. Think the sticky is called something along the lines of 'solutions to common problems' or something (cant check as I'm at work)
