Seriously?........ That's what the internet is all about, different ISP's have differnet traffic shaping policies and time of day restrictions, at any single second there are hundreds of routers all around the world experiencing congestion, if your ISP happens to go through one of those at the time then you will experience some latency.
Do what I said in my previous post and see what your own individual responses are like, measure it a few times throughout the day and see how it is affected.
Your issues are almost certainly network related, if you don't understand the broader conitations of that statement then don't just dismiss it as heresay.
Again network related, the beta servers were in the US only.

Does anyone else find the Auction house is making a lot of things a bit pointless?
For example you can buy gems for far cheaper than it costs to upgrade them in game! Similarly rare items seem much cheaper and better than most stuff you can forge.
Maybe it'll change towards end game but stuff is so cheap on the auction house it's hardly worth picking gems up.

Sky have no restrictions... no traffic shaping policies and rarely experience congestion. Yet i've seen what a lot of others get, though I don't play it anymore
im having the same experience, the only time i have died is to elites.. they seem waaaay harder, but everything else is still pretty easy, including bosses. Act 3 nightmare solo looking forward to hell, hope its possible to solo through to inferno...

It doesn't need to just be the ISP, the UK has limited peering links with other countries and a vast majority of our traffic leaves the UK via LINX. The Blizzard data centres may well be peering with multiple tier 1 connection providers, if your ISP is peering with say Level3 and they are having an issue then you could see an issue, whereas someone who's ISP is peering or taking an alternate route with Savvis/Global Crossing etc and they have no issues then they will be fine.
The internet is a complex beast and is the number one cause of all problems for games that require a connection of some sort.

Monk is back to using his fists, having reached a high enough level to use some monk-only drops from a coop game on Tuesday night. So much fun wading into mobs punching and roundhousing ...
Started a witch doctor too - will probably start a demon hunter too to see which I prefer for solo, but can't beat the monk for attack speed and power at the mo ...
Guess a lot of the server capacity issues must be being sorted, as I've got on first time every time since last night - still no stuttering or lag in game either.

My setup is
Primary - Spectral Blade (Deep Cuts rune)
Secondary Disintigrate (Chaos Nexus rune)
Diamond Skin (Prism rune)
Frost Nova (Frozen mist rune)
Archon
Familiar (Sparkflint)
I mostly use disintegrate, if things get to close I activate diamond skin (which also lowers the cost of disintigrate) and frost nova to do some nice AOE damage. Then if things get really hairy I just put archon on and massacre everything
Coupled with the familiar my DPS is 1033.99
Does anyone know if the stuttering issue is confirmed to be caused by latency or by a bug with the maxfps?

I was on 300 - 700ms last night with no stutteringBackup to 350MS now. Horrible stuttering.
latency bar last night on mine was red for ages but didn't get stuttering so just waiting for confirmation from blizz.
I did experience stuttering on a specific area last night but my latency seemed ok and was showing green.

Lots of people on the Diablo forums are noticing it gets a lot better really early on in the morning which would indicate it's been caused by some sort of congestion.
I made a post on the Talktalk forums to see if any of the reps their can suggest anything but I don't think they're going to be much help at all.
Open inventory and see the number next to damage. You can see all other stats by clicking details, and hovering over everything for more info.
