To be honest I am not a fan of blizzard SC2 and now D3 graphics that much. In my opinion it is not gritty enough and it is a bit cartoony. d1 and d2 were very dark and gritty sure the graphics were **** and only one light source.

It doesn't look bad at all and some of the levels are just amazing and so much effort put in to them and the creativity is mind blowing. But the reason i was not too fond of sc2 was the cartoony look. I don't want to come across as i don't like the look of it because i do, but i was just saying that it is not dark and gritty enough. I just think that is the way blizzard art department like to design it.

But for most people who never played the first games and only played wow it must look amazing because wow looks terrible.

Well for the most part I'm good to go again now, not much stuttering for the moment. :D

But it'll come back... :(
 
fao neoreloaded - I moved the soundcard to the spare pcie x16 slot, now my graphics card isnt getting too hot :o

Hope we get to play again :)
 
oh wow im such a noob, i just realised i had passive skills! i levels a demon hunter to 20 and a barb to 11 and just realised! :p

Also i get some stutter and so do the 3 people im playing with, if i look at my latency is aways over 350 aswell..
 
I was getting stutter but it's stopped today, The only thing I have changed is my monitor and resolution (higher),

I don't think it's server based because my ping was at 30-60 the first day I was playing but has been averaging around 200-250 today
 
Question. How do I get more than 2 players in a game? Its just when I join a "public" game I never seem to get more than me +1? Wanting some 4 player carnage! :p
 
There's something I want to try but don't know how to go about it.

Some people have had luck limiting their FPS to 65 and enabling Vsync + Triple buffering.

When I enable Vsync and triple buffering in my AMD CCC, it doesn't seem to take affect in diablo, I know this because the FPS shoots right up to 150 when it should be locked to 60.

Any ideas?

Try 'Torchlight' and then you'll realise how good Diablo III's art is. :)

Tom man how many different ways can people tell you its not you alone it is for sure the game. Just wait a few days/weeks for a patch and all will be well. :D

You remind me of a friend of mine; a slight bit of anything wrong and he notices it every time and it gets to him more and more. Just chill lad!

Haha that's me, I notice all of the small things.

I was just reading on the Diablo forum that someone fixed theirs by limiting FPS and applying Vsync, that's all.

It does seem like it could be a Vsync issue as everytime it drops only slightly below 60FPS, that's where the stuttering happens.

Just sucks CCC doesn't seem to take affect in Diablo. :confused:
 
Whats generally better, duel wield or 2 handed? I've been duel wielding but thats because I havent found a decent 2 hander yet.
 
Got a couple of hours played tonight. My first foray into the Diabloverse and it's amazing. I can't believe I never played the others before because I didn't like the look of them. :o
 
anybody up for some evening/ night multiplayer sessions through nightmare, sunday and onwards.

Sucks ass that im working 8pm to 4am both fri and sat night, working all earlys next week though so it's good.
 
Almost at the end of Act II Nightmare and still no amazing drops. Believe I have got a nice tanky barb going on though. He doesn't kill as fast as I would like but he can take the pain!
