It's more fun in a group, and also normal is so dull compared to higher difficulties, Blizzard said it's basically the tutorial.
 
Anyone had a tier item drop yet?

im trying to find info on them but there's virtually nothing about them, do they have a green nameplate?
 
Sorry if this has been asked before but, I'm almost finished with act 4 at 33. Can i start nightmare with my current character? Otherwise what would be the point in getting to 60? First time diablo player :p
 
Why won't they drop Amethysts for my barb :( He seems to get loads of everything else, and no amethysts.... (I know the AH exists, but this saves me a bit of hassle xD)

Currently having to double ruby my torso :(

So, I have now tried 4 of 5 classes upto L6 or so.

LOVE the Demon Hunter and Witch Doctor. I found the monk OK but not as fun as the other 2, I found my Wizard lacked in crucial crowd control, but I will keep him going as he may turn out good. I believe the Barbarian is a melee class? Up close and personal? If so, I will give that a miss...

And do I get guest passes for buying from Blizzard them selves?
 
Been unable to play now for 3 hours+

Tried to join a co-op public game, and got stuck at the loading screen for over 10 minutes, so alt+f4'd out and well, now I cannot connect at all.

Turns out error code 3006 which im getting has been known about for ages and the only current fix is for them to restart the server.

So no D3 for me until then.
 
If i thought the beta was a bit meh i.e a bit samey and just seemed to consist of mostly button spammage, am i likely to feel the same about the full game?

How can you possibly make that statement from playing to level 6? :confused:
 
Judging from the prices around the web I may aswell cave and upgrade my trial on the Blizzard site rather than buying it. Just popped over to Tesco where it was out of stock and Game had it for £45 same as the online site...
One Pint's worth cheaper on shopto but I'd have to wait a few days.

Don't regret not pre-ordering it mind. Last few pre ordered games I've got have turned out to be pretty boring. Whilst even the trial of this playing solo has already had 10-15 hours gametime being played over and over :p

I had that the other day, on the forums they suggested flushing DNS, it worked fine after that. Worth a try!
 
Monk is fun. Risky but fun.

Good skill synergy. Get attack speed boosting, spirit regen, dexterity buffs, dashing strike, bit of wind-milling, and it's a bloodbath.

I found spirit regen buffs very useful. Bit risky otherwise against powerful mobs trying to get some spirit going punching them in the balls.
