do you always get yellow drops from bosses?
Just played through to skeleton king again with my DH just to try and max it to 13 on the guest pass and had no yellow drop
Pretty sure I read somewhere that once you've beaten a boss, they are less likely to drop rares/legendaries. It's the Elite mobs you want for good loots.
seems to be 100% chance of yellow the first time you kill a boss, after that it's less likely than killing any elite mob packs. Until you get NV, then it seems to be multiple yellows everytimedo you always get yellow drops from bosses?

I put Amethysts on Armour, Topaz on helm and Ruby on Weapons.
Hp/Armour or damage depends on what I've got lying around...

Completed Normal last night with 17 hours game time. Loved every minute of it! 
Most of my gear is rare yellow items, including an awesome helm I got just before the end. If I'm honest, I got almost all of it from regular mobs not the bosses.

So I'm going to sound like a right noob but how do I go about farming different acts? I've just completed Normal and want another run at the bosses. I looked at changing quests but this said my progress will be lost or something, does that mean level/gear too?

Anything up to inferno just focus on Str/Vit with some resists and armor.
Inferno you will want Resist all>Vitality>+Armor>Strength>Physical Resistance.
Look up Kripparrian channel on youtube for some good Barb guides/info.

I feel dirty. I just skipped my first ever yellow mob, but frankly, vampiric + Arcane + enchanted on a rock giant thing is never going to happen.

Fought some vampiric teleporting shield frogs earlier. Was bloody hard to kill! Ended up just spamming every special attack at it to try and break it down slowly!

Yeah it seems completely detrimental to player experience. I am actually shocked that Blizzard went down this route purely as a money making exercise.
i am looking to get this but do u need a internet connection to play single player lol i am waiting to get my new mobo and graphics card to play....what is the reconmend card that i can use just i do have an old one and it plays starwars on medium lol
Yea you need to be online for single player
game is not that demanding. played it max with an 4870 512mb
The game is CPU demanding though, with a lot of action on screen, especially if you play in a group, you can get slowdown if your CPU isn't up to scratch.

No one else seems to have answered you but you don't lose anything at all by changing quest. It just means if you want to get to the latest point in the story then you need to change quest again (or play through to that point). There isn't any downside, you keep all of your gear/level/stash/etc and you will need to farm if you want to build up your gear/level.
Just started nightmare, boy it's a step up in difficulty!!!
