I just find it stupid that they give wizard abilities to kite/cc which doesnt work at all in inferno. The only tactic that got me through hell was spamming hydra and running around/dodging stuff but on inferno u cant do that anymore. Will probably need to spend 1mil on items just to be able to farm hell effectively without dying.

Whats ur battletag ?

I don't understand, one place i hear everyone raging about Barbs being **** at high levels and saying Wizards are brilliant and another place i hear the exact opposite.

I think it's just down to the individual. I have a mate who's a Wizard and is flying through Act 3 Inferno.

I doubt the balance is that bad and even if it is, Blizzard will slowly make each class have a fairly similar potential.

I have had no lags, dc or problems with logging in apart from the first 3-4 days. Might have a lot more to do with the servers on the way to blizzard rather than actual blizzard, people that dont know networking dont realise that there can be problems on the way rather than the actual server itself. Played with 2 friends and 1 also never had a single problem while other one has plenty of lag. Usually clearing DNS solves it tho.

Yeah, I've actually never had any problems myself - well apart from servers went down for maintenance, but that's a purposeful issue :p

It was more of a 'I've been thinking, and this kind of makes sense...'

:D

Anyone clearing act 2 inferno with a monk? Looking for a gear benchmark. Currently at 38k hp 420 resist all 65% armor, 40% dodge, 17k damage.

Wizards gonna get nerfed again.

Diablo Inferno killed in 3 minutes.

Not being a Wizard, I have no idea how this worked... The huge amount of damage doesn't surprise me. They've just massively stacked some kind of crit system. But why does Diablo just stand there and not attack?

To be fair though, if he's that easy ecause of something... It almost needs to be nerfed.... I like how he switched to MF gear at the end though xD

Just be glad you're getting some!

Farming Act 1, or Act 2? How many hours? xD

After an evening spent farming inferno act 1 i thought id finish off with a run through hell act iv to see how it was. I finished it including a full stack of NV in under an hour (got achievement), with no deaths. Just goes to show what a couple of evenings farming and some AH buys can do for you.

Conclusion, if you are dying, get more gear!

Does anyone know any sites that show off legendary gear? I've been told they have unique looks but I haven't found a single legendary myself. Preferably I would like to see what stuff looks like on a monk, but anything is better than nothing, I'm curious as to how cool the legendaries are :D

This is infuriating. The game works absolutely perfectly on my PC, except for the AH which crashes as soon as I open it (every time)

Anyone had this problem or know of a fix.

I literally cannot and have never been able to access the AH.

Yeah the battle.net site has all the items.

Stun-locking the boss seems a bit soft really. Rather than nerfing you could just buff diablo to be immune to whatever was causing the stun-lock.

Edit: I had to resort to the AH for the first time today. I've been on since 12pm (off sick with tonsilitis) and had nothing drop for me at all. I think I saw 2 yellows in the full days play, and I've been working through nightmare since about 6pm. I did buff my dps by almost 400 with 10k worth of spending though :)

The only way wizards progress through inferno is either with screwed up tactics like the one in the vid, getting help from others or playing 18hrs a day since release and sitting at AH 8hrs from that making millions through trades and buying insanely stupid gear, a DH or barb with same kind of gear will just rape this in 20seconds. What happend there is that guy stacked attack speed and crit% items then used passives that stun on electrical damage and one that has chance to lower cooldowns on crit so one he started casting 5 living lighting a second he will get frost nova every 1-2 seconds and keep diablo perma frozen.

What is bit silly is that people who can play 12hrs+ a day from release will get so massively ahead because they can set prices for everything, ie., few days after release when I was looking at gems on AH I had to pay 10-14k for certain gems, week later same gems started selling for 1k. Now being in inferno myself with 2nd char and seeing how quick the same games that i paid 10k+ for drop I'm more than sure that someone made at least few million by just selling gems, not to mention blacksmithing/jewelcrafting pages and tomes, at start they sold for 3-4k now they go for 200gold.

Also regarding the vid, u can see that he's got no nephalem valor buff, guess why?
It's because any champion pack will ***** him with the same spell setup. He probably didn't even get there by himself, either group or abused the armor block bug.

That's called economics. In games like this and MMO's people who play more are at an advantage, that's just a general gaming fact.
