As powlesY says, it's a buff you get from killing elite and champion groups once you're level 60.

You can stack it up to 5 times and it gives you loads of MF, it's the only way to get decent drops before tackling a boss, but it means you have to explore and find elite/champ groups before facing them.

Oh that one. cheers

Getting absolutely smashed on Hell Act 2 by these champion Snakes. Been trying to kill them for ages and when i run out of durability and go and repair they are back to full health. :(

EDIT: Kiting them and 3 champion wallers show up. I can't progress atm, someone help! lol.

Also, is magic weapon essential for a wizard? I've found Frost Nova so useful but thinking of taking it out for magic weapon.

Whoever tries to play barb with resistances and defensive stats before act 2 inferno is doing it wrong. I had no vit on my gear and 0 res and breezed through it with 0 problems 1 hitting everything on my way with massive crits.

5s surv from ignore pain is more than enough to kill any champion pack or huge group of monsters when you crit for 70k dmg unbuffed with furious charge.

So, some suggestions then please. Inferno

Level 60 Barb.
60K HP
8.9K DPS

What should I work on first? Better DPS or resistances?

I'm a muppet, i just paid a mate 75k to upgrade all my gems ('cause thats what the jeweller overall charged). I go on the auction house after and none of them are worth anything haha.

Basically just threw all that money away. Now i'm skint. ****..

You need better friends.

For me so far, the ability to buy gems from the auction house somewhat breaks the game. I can buy perfect quality gems way cheaper than I can fabricate them which have made the first playthrough a cakewalk so far.

I really regret taking my Barb all the way to level 60 now, as Inferno seems to be a complete PITA.

Does any class have it easy in Inferno though?

Act 1 u need 0 resistance or hp. Ive had just 30k hp, tho around 20k dps unbuffed which jumped up to 80k with wotb along with 40-50% to crit.

Takes 5-10 seconds to kill champs and ignore pain gives you enough time to survive.

Act 2 is different story, had to swap few items and most of the stuff for defensive, mainly all res and look for high armor, you still need some str tho otherwise you'll never kill the mobs and ull die anyways as u cant tank them forever.

Only just managed to kill maghda, cant tank that even with full defensive, had to swap for weapon throw build and kite her for 10min lol.

I think you will need 500+ resistances along with 13k armor before you can survive in act 2 -_-, best to just group with some good dps that can get things down quickly.

so... is there "aggro" in D3? I've played with all different classes and I (a wizard) seem to be doing as much tanking as anyone else! Either the threat is random, or people suck really bad

How do you get so much DPS?!

The quests leading up to Zoltun are so annoying. On NM i had to do it 3 times 'cause whenever i went back on it'd chuck me back to the bit before the water passage - now on Hell it's doing the same thing. I wanna play but i don't know if can be assed to go all the way through the Oasis and that ******** again.
