Just bought a fairly cheapish helm of command for 700k with a socket in. Didn't have as much vital as I would have liked but it takes my chance to block up to almost 50% now. Just tried act 3 again and still struggling so still need to improve my gear some more. Really want a good stormshield with like 24% block but they go for like 5 million and a good Blackthorn medal but they go for around 2 million as well so back to farming :D

50% block ? Am I missing something ???
Not that its a stat i'd be trying to stack anyways as you can block only around 2k dmg out of 20 which mobs hit with so its better to just stack armor/resists for surv rather than block but how the heck did u get 50%?

I'm trying to get atleast 350 Resistance on my Barb for Inferno... I've just spent some cash on resist gear though and I'm at only around 110 overall atm. :(

Has anyone got any suggestions on what type of gear I should look for?

Just got to act 3 inferno with my barb and i can barely make it to light the first signal fire. Now I am forced to go back and farm act 2 and surprisingly i can use a 2 hander there now.
Its quite amazing how much difference a small stat increase can make, I added about 80 resistance, 100str upgraded my weapon and what was a nightmare 2 days ago is now quite manageable.

I usually filter all armor with a combination of All res/Life%/str/vit/physical res/max buyout 200k

I'll eat my hat if anything of real difference is changed, it's Blizzard after all.

They have already nerfed the monk and the DH since release that i know about they have probably done a few nerfs that no one has noticed yet.

DH's are not rolling through inferno as easy as you think they are, and if all the crying continues on the Diablo forums there will be half a game.

everyone wants nerf this, or nerf that.

let's face it we are the nerf generation if something is better we cry and moan, when we try it and it;s not as glorious as we have let ourselfs believe we cry some more untill we get what what we want, or it's broken beyond repair and move on to destroy the next game.

sad thing is all this crying will die down once the game is nerfed into the floor, and then the same babys will come back once pvp is out and ask for everything to be back to how it was :p

Thats fair enough :) Roll Demon Hunter when you do get around to buying it.

If you check every other forum, everyone is complaining about how "bad" their classes are. If people are in Act 4 Inferno now then they do that with their overpowered builds which recently got nerfed.

Demon Hunters got their SS nerfed and it hit them hard, likewise with Wizards and their low hp and high regen build.

It is a lot harder for these to progress onto act 3 now.

Exactly to many people currently throwing out posts with "nerf this, nerf that" and stating that the grass is 100% green on the other side. If they actually played the class themselves, they would see it isn't that much better.

Wizards/DH's recently both got nerfed which hit them hard in Inferno. If they had already previously got past act 2 and farmed gear on 3/4 then they were fine but any now on act 2 are getting demolished.

Exactly, if everyone kept their mouths shut we wouldn't get nerfs as bad as these. but that would never happen, people are only happy when they are causing trouble...

they will either nerf every class into the gorund, or just make inferno baby mode. it's the only way this will end with the amount of rubbish in the official forums :(

at least wait for the game to be about 90 days old before claiming "OP" or "nerf"...

Here is a Barb who got the Act 3 i thought it was impossible?

Good on you, showing all the neysayers it can be done.

This post is not intended to cause arguements but to show that it CAN be done.

Argh. I'm getting killed so easily trying to do the Terminus things in the lead of to Zoltun. 5.4k damage is killing things relatively easily but i have 32k life and just getting slaughtered.

i have one of each class, granted not all lv 50+ but i chose WD/DH down to prefrence even before i got a hold of the game, i jsut prefer to be a ranged dps, or a summoner and the WD was my first choice but they lack the summons i was hoping for so i swapped over and now im happy with my weak, but fast DH :p

i will leave barb till last since i never really enjoy tank/melee classes, that being said i was impressed with monks at lower levels :p

Yup i have been a Demon Hunter from the start aswell, gave all classes a fair ol' go in the beta and decided i prefered it more.

I've just had a mate of mine re-roll from a Wizard to a Barb because of the nerf that recently happened to them. I am a little dismayed as he wasn't even in Inferno yet he supposedly already knew that Inferno was impossible without even trying it.

It is like i said "the grass is not always greener".

Got my DH at 60 almost doing act 2 and a Barb/Monk at 40+ with my WD/Wizard at 20 something.

i knew this would happen when they said @ blizzcon that hell/inferno are meant to be a CHALLENGE but people refused to belive it and expected a D2 copy... lol where you can do everything in a week, from scratch. a day if you already knew what you was doing :p

I've got 60% damage reduction from armor, 60% resistance to all elements (including physical) 20% melee damage reduction from Blur, 2% ranged damage reduction from a necklace, 36,000 health and I still get two shotted in inferno :/

Yellow mobs aren't challenging or skillful they just kill you instantly.

Well I got some resist gear and changed my spec to a full tanky type.

I'm doing a lot better in Inferno Act 1 now but I know I probably have a lot of Act 1 farming to do. :(
