Are all the claims for a 5.1 jailbreak rubbish

Yes swipeselection is a brilliant tweak. I loved the bubble apple thing but its just so hard to get right. Swipe is ultra control!

Yes I was a massive SBSettings fan! But then I found Deck and for the reasons I put previously I love it! I also have InteliscreenX quick toggles in that which sits on the top shelf of Notifcation Centre.

Anyone able to help? I'm trying to download "StayOpened" from Cydia and I get this message:

I wasn't able to locate file for the com.sull.stayopened package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.

Had so many of these errors.. Can I remember how I fixed it? Nope!

A lot of trying to restore in DFU or restore mode. Try a different computer or a virtual machine if you can. I've spent hours trying to solve these errors, I get there eventually!
 
Think my sources are fine - just can't get a thing of Cydia as HTTP500 Server Timeout or something, from google it seems to be because everyone with an iDevice is trying... will leave it a couple days!
 
My bro bought a 64gb ipad 3 last week, it's on 5.1.1 and I've just jb it. Can anyone tell me what app I need to hide the jb so that sky go will work on it?
 
upgraded to 5.1.1, jb'd and nearly back to way to the way I like it.

Rotation inhibitor doesn't work on 5.1.1 though. :(

Discovered AirBlue last night... which although $4.99 is excellent. Bluetooth send and recieve to iOS and non iOS devices. Thanks Apple ;)
 
Mine had been working fine until yesterday. Installed retinapad and didn't really like it, uninstalled and everything went messed up. Icons all over the place, top bar with time missing and everything was crashing. Tried restarting iPad, respringing and everything but decided to reinstall everything instead now which is a bit annoying

What you have to be careful is that when you are deleting stuff you should take note of the list that cydia is removing. You may find its rooted into other tweaks which may get removed too.
 
Yeah I think that is what happened but you would think that they would put some measures in and maybe prompt you that certain files are used by other apps before deleting them!
