Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I have just experianced the m26 glitch, having not played for 3 months I have just been raped by a clan using the m26:( I was wondering what everyone going on about and now I know why. Having never used it (tell a lie I have one kill) I htought I would give them a dose of their own medicine and I could hit bugger all with it. I guess their must be some sort of knack to it.

ok guys finally ready to join a uk based clan or community for this game

my 60 or so hours clocked is pretty much me playing as a lone wolf and tbh im sick of trying to capture bases or arm/defend mcoms solo

i would say im looking for a serious clan/community but not hardcore as i work full time in a 9-5 job so i can only play maybe 1-3 hours on each weekday
but can put in a lot more time in on weekends

got a sennheiser pc360 on order so will have no problems communicating on TS or whatever

can anyone point me in the right direction

Sem,

you are more than welcome to come check www.thefallenunit.co.uk out. A great mixture of serious and casual like minded players, predominantly BF3, with a good few playing DayZ curently as well. There will be a focus on GW2 when it's released by some parties in the clan.

Feel free to drop by our server or drop in our ts for a bit of banter we like a bit of casual and serious(mainly for bf3 tournament @ weekend) and dont just play bf3

your spolit for choices by the looks of it and going by your stats you know what your doing happy hunting :)
 
You have to be seriously focused on what you're doing (or extremely not with it :p) to get repair tooled on Metro but by God, I managed it last night...names shall not be mentioned :p

Did **** other than that though last night, lol.

I'm not sure there was a huge difference in bullet drop between bolt-actions and slugs in BC2 - it would look like a bigger compensation with a scope of course.
 
Battlefield Premium to cost £35, Aftermath DLC revealed - report

The previously rumoured Battlefield Premium service will cost around £35 when it launches next month.

That's according to a listing from online retailer CoolShop, which carries a £34.96 price tag and an expected launch date of June 29.

The product description reads: "BF3 Premium Service is 1 code in a box to give the consumers early access to the BF3 DLC expansion packs - Back to Karkand (already released), Close Quarters (releasing June), Armoured Kill (releasing Sept) and End Game (releasing December)."
But according to MP1st a fifth, as-yet-unannounced Battlefield 3 expansion will be called Aftermath. The site suggests it will be released this year before the previously announced End Game DLC, which it claims will now arrive in 2013.

The site says Battlefield Premium will offer the following:

20 Maps
20 New Weapons
10+ New Vehicles
4+ New Game Modes
30+ Assignments
20+ Dog Tags
Back to Karkand
Close Quarters in June 2012
Armored Kill in Fall 2012
Aftermath in late 2012
End Game in Spring 2013

I'll get feedback on the expansion packs first rather than handing over 35 notes for potential garbage.
