The AH is soo wierd though its been fine the last few days then last night it was completely broke. I couldn't put auctions up. I couldn't buy things I couldn't even take money that was in my transfer to stash queue :p

They really need to work on the AH asap and resolve these problems. Because if it acts like this when the RMAH is up... well then they are messing about with peoples real money which is NOT good.

I got to lvl 50 last night on my DH. Just completed act 3 on nightmare :) I'm hoping to get to 60 by end of the week or during the weekend. Looking forward to hell tho ! I must say nightmare hasn't really been a challenge. Hell should be fun :p Also one of my friends took me to that secret pony land level :D LOL that level is great the amount of drops was insane imo.

You need to kill izual in act IV just before diablo - he has a chance to drop http://d3db.com/item/i/staff-of-herding?recipe=210431#comment.
After that you need the items to craft it, if you follow the link provided each of the items is detailed in one of the comments ad is the location and how they can be found.

After that it's just a matter of craftingit and finding the area where the cow guy is between new and old tristram.

Careful After making the staff as it is grey quality and many a person has thrown it away by mistake when farming.

Get the staff of herding. Requires a few items that you can find around the game.

Aye, that's the one.

Finding Hell, an interesting experience.. Into Act III now, but I tend to find that I literally carve through normal mobs, without too much effort. Second I hit a rare mob, even with WOTB and COTA I find that I die. Quickly.

I was playing last night, alt-tabbed to check something then went back to d3 and the view perspective had changed! Everything was much closer and not so top down. Was kinda cool but hard to play!

Anyone else had this happen to them?

Just hit Hell after doing Nightmare mainly Solo.....to say its a step up is an understatement!

Really need some better gear, as even normal mobs are taking time to kill!

Just hit Hell after doing Nightmare solo, or just hit Inferno after doing Hell solo? :p

I got to Inferno earlier, I get raped on my monk though :(. Not using AH items, so need to farm Whimsyshire Hell for a bit to get some items.

Just started Nightmare on my wizard too, wizards are fun as **** :D. Makes a nice change when I get tired of farming/dying on my monk :p.

So many acronyms!

I had an awesome looking blue DH yesterday after some packet loss (courtesy of Virgin Media). We were doing the speed run achievements just for a change (because order was sick of doing act 2 :p) and it took a total of about 1h 40-50m to do all 4 acts using 2 vault spamming move speed enhanced demon hunters.

ha ha ooops.....yeah I meant Nightmare.....sorry its too early and im still drinking my coffee! :D

I found hell a big step up at first, then more or less straight away I got a 1h drop that was 250dps, compared to my dual 100dps weapons :D, that gave me a dps increase from about 1.2k to around 2k dps, was much easier then (and because of the way dual wield works, it let me use a random shield I found for extra stats/armor too so was easier to tank stuff).

My DPS is just terrible now, when I started Diablo on Hell I had 12 mins left on Nephalem Valor, it ran out around 30% or something :(. Atleast I didn't die on him though :D.
 
Could someone offer some advice, I joined Jumpurs game, he was level 14, I was level 9, but its screwed my game up and now all the monsters are red, I assumed it would put me back to where I was when i was playing my single player game?

yeah I think thats the problem.....my weapons DPS is too low moving into Hell.....where I used to melt other mobs, its taking time!

Witch Doctors arent exactly DPS machines as it is.

Found some nice Rare Armour drops though! :D
 
Ok, I may have been a bit hasty complaining about the Mobs I was experiencing in Hell... I've just demolished 4 rare mobs back to back, just turned out the first few I had some bad luck xD

For anyone interested, going through Hell, I have about 6k DPS (without Wrath of the Berserker - dual wielding 300dps maces), and 30k hp....

When you kill one of them the others get bigger / stronger / faster.

Really depends on the monsters, as well as their affixes imo. An example is, as soon as I hit inferno, most packs were challenging, but unburied champs were pretty much impossible with any set of affixes. Now in act 2 im pretty confident I can beat any type of monster elite, but anything with invincible minions is a complete no go.
