Anyone know what the Avenger buff blue mobs have actually gives them?

When one of the pack dies it increases their damage dealt and speed of attacks, i also think it decreases their damage taken.

Pain in the ass when you get the a 4 pack of cultists with avenger buff, the best instance of avenger i had was with invulnerable minions.

You need to kill izual in act IV just before diablo - he has a chance to drop http://d3db.com/item/i/staff-of-herding?recipe=210431#comment.
After that you need the items to craft it, if you follow the link provided each of the items is detailed in one of the comments ad is the location and how they can be found.

After that it's just a matter of craftingit and finding the area where the cow guy is between new and old tristram.

Careful After making the staff as it is grey quality and many a person has thrown it away by mistake when farming.

Thanks will give that a go tonight maybe :)

Playing through again on nightmare. Approaching the end of act one already and it doesn't seem that hard at all so far.

Nightmare wasn't that difficult, the next difficulty level (Hell? I forget) is actually pretty difficult but only really because of ******** blue/yellow mobs.

Just got piled simultaneously by 5 fallen maniacs... Suffice to say I died...

Oh also, what does health link do?

kd

If you watch the other mobs life while you're killing one you'll notice they all go down together :)

Anyone getting through infero with a monk? If so, what stats/skills?

Since i have an actual day off for a change i'm going to level my wizard through nightmare - anyone is welcome to join me apok#2462.

Wont be on for a bit yet like as i need to do some cleaning get a shower etc...

Got Act 3 Inferno on farm \o/ but yet to kill Dan, although haven't tried him yet.

Still extremely easy to die as a Wizard, using Force Armor but regular hits from normal mobs without it on one shot me even with 55k HP, 400 all resist and 4k armor. I basically have to skip any pack that has invulnerable minions, it's just not possible. Also sometimes have to skip Vortex, depends on the mob and their other abilities.. such as those Vortex, Molten, Fire Chains, Fast = insta skip, won't even try it.

Now just trying to get a better 1 hander, current is 740 DPS but it's not really enough.

Are there any stores that actually sell the physical version of this game :o

I have the digital, but trying to gift someone the physical version and it seems nay one impossible to find it in stock anywhere is the bay the only option?

Well Game Stop in Ireland had some, sadly that doesn't really help you. Unless you call up stores near you and ask if they have some.

Success!

I pretty much have act 2 on farm, going to start working on act 3 when I replace my boots and chest.

Gearing for resist all + one resist, dex, vit, attack speed. Also trying to get life regen, life on hit and spirit regen (I have 0 spirit regen, it is terrible.)

Does anyone else really hate coming across Reflect Damage mobs? When you're using Caltrops w/ Jagged Spikes, Sentry Gun and Bat Companion, all of which deal damage without your assistance, your health just constantly drains away. Even worse when you're on low health with your pot on recharge ><

How exactly does the Staff of Herding/secret level work anyway? I've got the plan for it (got it from my first run on Normal, only just realised how to teach it to Haedrig :p). Is it single use like the cow level? Or can you use it as many times as you like on as many difficulties as you like?

For those looking for retail stock (myself included), Amazon has just updated the page for Diablo 3 stating they will be getting stock again on June 11th. This ties up with the previously mentioned 2 week wait from Tesco.
I guess I'll be paying £45 tonight if I don't want to wait 2 weeks :(

Well I hit level 60 with my DH on friday, I entered Inferno with about 21k hp and 9k DPS (before adding SS) Really disappointing with how the game plays now. All this talk of multiple builds is pretty much BS. Smoke Screen is must as most stuff can pretty much one shot me. Total snore fest and very frustrating dying multiple times on elites.

The style of play they allowed in all the other modes is no longer viable in inferno. So at the moment I can struggle through Inferno on my own which zaps any fun out of it for me. Or go back to hell act IV and farm for gold to buy better stuff on the AH and still know that in the end, I could be one shot killed at any moment.

Is this really how blizzard wanted the game to be played?

So I have started a new char(Monk) Having loads of fun tearing through Normal, sitting on Act 3 just after killing The Lord of Gluttony. Waiting on my girlfriend to get her Wizard to level 60, so we can tackle inferno together. Not really looking forward to it though.

It's multi use but you need to upgrade it for each difficulty.

Merch in act 4 next to the companions sells the upgrade plans.

What act difficulty is whimsyshire equivelant to on inferno?

Act 3/4, iirc they're the same level (63)
