Currently act 2 in hell, got 31k health isn't that too much for my monk?I was watching a guy in act 2 inferno and his monk had 30k.

I have 45k in act 3 inferno.

You could manage with 30k in act 2, having enough armor/resists and offense is more important than your hp pool, you just want enough so you wont be burst down.

45k feels alright for act 3, need more defense though, getting hit for 25k by some champs isnt entirely uncommon.

my monk in act 1 hell has about 27k health, slowly moving towards stacking dex + res as I seem to have a bit too much vit gear. I don't even know how my HP got so high, I'm sure it was closer to 10K when I started playing yesterday, and I removed vit from my amulet for a massive dex + atk speed rare

How much dps do you have?

Hope they haven't patched the Zultun Kulle power leveling method. Couldn't get 60 last night with the servers being down. *Fingers crossed*

Is that some kind of abuse?

Yeah, it revolves around abusing the quest to kill him and get the soulstone and joining other peoples games and completing the quests over and over. Capped at 11 times for some reason, or so I've read anyway.

Going to be gutted if they have patched that :(

I wonder what the thought process was when they came up with all these enemies for act 4.

Hey, lets make a boss with an un-dodgeable teleporting attack that doesn't need line of sight with almost no animation so you can't see it coming.
What about another boss that can freeze you without any warning just as he summons reinforcements?
How about an enemy that can instantly charge you without any warning that not only inflicts massive damage but can instantly follow that attack up with another?

I'm starting to see why people don't bother with vitality on Inferno. Attacks that you have to work to avoid are one thing but too many enemies are utterly impossible to dodge. Either you kill them before they get a chance to hit you or you die. Simple as.

butcher on inferno is bs as a barb.

wearing him down then enrage kicks in every floor tile is on fire = instant death.

got 60k health 500 resist 8k dps and still cant kill him in time.

I think your main problem is you have drastically out levelled your area, and loot tables are based on map over player level. surprised you're not just walking through every mob in the game at the moment

I'm pretty anal with not leaving a single area unexplored so guess this could be why? I haven't died yet and don't think i've ever been taken past 50% HP.

Diablo on Hell was an epic fight. Shadow Clones of myself teleporting in and attacking me before you can react appropriately? Not so epic.

And I've just noticed that my achievements have broken

Not an exploit, clever use of game mechanics.

Exploiting game mechanics is basically the same thing. It was not intended to be done thay way.

Thought I'd get myself into town on Inferno. Decided to see how much the zombies hit for. 15k. Guess I'd better concentrate on not getting hit :p

Of course, right up until I come across that Mortar Jailer.

What are DH like to play in Inferno?

pretty much 1 hit KO from all mobs. I consider myself lucky if I only die once when trying to kill an elite group of mobs. I'm still on Act 1 inferno but I hear Act 2 is where the good loot is at and also where the difficulty spirals out of control.

can't be bothered to find a pic so....

O RLY!?
But it's what Diablo is about, loading up a check point to kill a boss/farm specific loot/do specific quests... Bit like me killing a mob on inferno that takes me all about about 30 seconds to do and it drops 3 golds every time, clever use of the Diablo game mechanics.
