White, my brother works in CPW so I spent a good few hours with both demo phones. I was quite in different and it was only because I had a white xperia play that I wanted a change.

Black is the real colour I want but that is most likely some way off yet! In some ways I thought the blue looked a little more tacky, hard to explain but that was my gut feeling and then add to the fact I would have to wait a few more weeks and so I went with white. Now I have been I using it a few days I am completely happy with the choice I made :D no way would I swap for blue now.

Edit: i also had in my mind that in the future I may give the gf this one and get the black for myself. As her current s2 has a cracked screen

So with Apex Launcher Pro am I restricted to the wallpapers through the app or is there some way to use my own? I've got scrollable wallpapers selected but whenever I go to chose my own from the gallery it asks me to crop it leaving me with black either side when going to different screens.

Download quickpic - photo gallery app - use that to do everything you mentioned.

I've had the backup wakelock on my SGS2 when doing a full wipe between ICS ROMs. It looks like the backup service doesn't exit properly once all the syncs have completed. I reboot usually fixes it :)

You do have to be slow with panning, zooming is fiddly can produce bad results.

Is £220 a good price for this phone? I am just talking to t-mobile just now as my contract is at it's end, I pay £10 a month for pretty much free everything and they will give me it for £220 if I renew that for 24 months.

I did, especially the paper airplanes. These were made from the white cards that were held aloft when the national anthem was played. They came down from all parts of the stadium throughout the match. I nearly had my ear taken out by a dive bomber. :D

HTC Desire I got on the day of release on this contract which I'll sell to Mazuma or something easy.

Oh yeah, my contract is ideal for me, it's the least I can pay a month and don't need t worry about anything as texts, calls, internet is all free pretty much... and I don't even make a lot of calls or texts being honest.
