It was quickest boss kills, not quickest killing elites and then killing bosses. And if he doesn't run on some of them, he'll die. I can't see that being a reasonable complaint, lol.

for monk, if you can, stack all res + a single res (eg, poison) and use the one with everything passive. single res affix nearly gets same max stat per item as all res, so you can get nearly double res if you can afford it :P

Aye, the only problem is it can cost you a lot more as you'll probably have to pay over the odds to get an item with both good stats and the specific res you want.

Anything with good stats and all res is probably going to be costly anyway. Good stats + all res + single res usually isn't a huge deal more expensive, obviously rarer though.

Edit - anyone put a price on this

I mean that since you're looking for one specific res you might have to pay more just to get hold of it as you're limiting yourself to one specific type which is going to give you much less choice.

You can pick up some pretty good deals on gear with just a single resistance on them. As soon as something has e.g. primary stat + vit + resist all its going to be worth something.

My point was that something with dex + vit + resist all + arcane resist usually isn't priced much more than something with dex + vit + resist all. Theyre both going to be moderately expensive, the former is just obviously going to be rarer.
 
im feeling as though the game is flawed - done act 1 inferno a ton of times and the gear that drops just isnt enough to do act 2, most of the weapons are sub 500 dps, and the armour is nothing to write home about either.

Im feeling forced to use the auction house, and my game time is all about gold farming now as the gear to do act 2 is very costly.

For me, this has taken a fair bit of fun out the game as im not excited about loot now, as i cant remember the last time i have found anything usable.

Played over 200 hours so its not like im doing 30 minutes here and there..

still, worth the £40 for the amount of playtime i have had, but struggling to keep motivated to carry on
 
what do people mean by stacks of 5 Nephilim? Do you teleport to all the different zones picking up +25% find magic items then go do a boss?

You get one stack of Nephalem Valor per rare pack you kill, +15% MF / GF per stack. Get 5 stacks then kill a boss and rinse/repeat or keep killing rare packs.
 
The drops are awful to say the least ive played for around 60 hours as a Barb and only had one crappy Legendary item, the rares that im picking up are useless.

Ive taken a few days off at the shock of how much i need to earn for act 3 :p

String of ears belt and helm of command are on my wish list ..only another 20 odd million to go....

really struggling with Belial NM :( Wizard

I'm on 10th attempt now - and its getting tedious

my life is only 4000, but my DPS is 1200 - would have thought it was enough :(
 
Having completed the game on normal i've only recently realised that i've been playing on the American servers!

I am most annoyed, have to start all over again now.

What a fool I am.

Thanks, are rare packs purple only or the blues/yellows? does it show you the valor buff anywhere?
