That 15% commission is killer for making any profit.

Lots of people are losing a lot of money on the AH at present on gems I imagine due to forgetting about the 15% commission. Might be profitable to buy them when they are below crafting cost now until people catch on and prices rise again!

It won't be, because flawless gem prices will keep falling and they will be cheaper to make.

anyone can tell me how does weapon % dmg works?

is it applied to the to the weapon min-max dmg ?
is it applied to your total damage when the weapon is equipped?
or something else

trying to buy a weapon
the % weapond dmg is applied already to that weapon
if there is a sword with 15-45 dmg
next sword with 20% dmg will have this 20%added to 15-45 and make 18-54 dmg
Same sword but more base dmg (thats my understanding) so additional poison, arcane, fire, cold dmg does not count

If you are buying the gems and crafting them from them yes, but at the minute there are stars and above on the AH for less than the crafting fee minus comission, never mind materials cost too!

I was wondering if one of you fine people could critique my level 49 Monk....

I'm currently using the following skills:

Is this a decent balance of skills do you think or am I missing something that is more powerful??

The reason I'm using "Peaceful Repose" on my Serenity skill is because its the only one (so far) that grants invulnerability and a degree of healing, which I'm finding useful!

I'm dual-wielding btw - dealing approx 1800 DPS on Act 3 in NM.

Any opinions?

That is weird, if the damage percent is already added, why even bother showing you the damage percent increase? O_o

The price of Perfect Squares this morning says it all anyway. They were around 19k this morning which is less than you can make them for even before commission. They're up to 40k now which seems to be a very good money maker.

How much are the plans going for anyway?

Do people kick about in the mumble chat without necessarily playing with each other? Might keep me more entertained during the grind!

This. I went into a vent with a few old CS buddies who i haven't spoke to in a while (they all went to WoW). They all play Diablo now so was hoping for a good crack. I got so bored within 10mins though, they've got such a nerdy approach to it. I'm fine with in-depth conversations about the game but i swear they've lost their personalities.

You know the best strategy for this is to stockpile items. Get as much gold as you can and buy as many of the best items you can find before the RMAH hits. Because inflation is going to hit big and there's going to be hardly any items left on the AH.
